Overall the haunted history walk of Barnstable is interesting and beautiful. The cemetery was my favorite part of this tour. I was with a group of Seniors and when we got to the jail, thinking we were being treated special, he asked our group to come forward. Mind you, most people were not wearing masks. He directed our group inside the jail, way in the closed off area of the jail, where there was no circulation and no masks being worn. I am high risk and chose to leave the group and be in the front near the leader, because there was a higher ceiling, and hopefully less risk of Covid. That being said, this tour was not as Senior friendly as I would have preferred. We have a lot of haunting stories ourselves so maybe the leader didn't like that. Mask up, especially in the jail if you're a Senior and don't allow him to put you in the corner with no circulation if you're high risk. Many did not like our group being put in the back of the jail. They don't even do that in real jails. I worked in several until I retired.

This was, by far, the best Ghost Tour I've ever done. We were even able to do our own EVP investigation in the cemetery. I caught a great EVP. Derek is a fabulous tour guide! We came to Cape Cod from CT for a girl's trip and this was a huge highlight of our visit!!

This was the best ghost tour I have ever been on. Derek was a fantastic tour guide, and you can tell that he loves what he does. The information he gave at each stop was full of history and information. Not going to lie, some parts were a bit creepy, but isn't that how a ghost tour should be?

This was my wife and I’s 4th ghost tour, hands down the spookiest one we have ever been on. This is the first experience we had where the guide actually had a passion and life interest for what he does, rather than someone just going through the motions at their job. Full of history and interesting information but also downright scary and we did experience things we believe were paranormal. Totally recommended!

Great time, but at the jail had a very scary and real experience. Turned the lights off, then after a few seconds the temperature in the room dropped significantly in a matter of one second, then one of the stanchions jumped up and slammed back down by itself. Barnstable house may be more famous for being haunted, but at the jail you may very well feel it for yourself.
