The train and Carousel is fun for the little kids below 10 years of age.The nearby playground is great for 10 year olds and above with fantastic climbing and very high slides.

We took our 19 month old granddaughter for a first time ride on the train and the carousel. Seemed a little steep ($6 per adult) and there were four adults and one child. Children have to be under two to ride for free. None the...More

Great fun on merry go round and train. The train was a surprisingly long and beautiful ride. I may have enjoyed it more than my grandson, but he was excited to be there. Highly recommended. We saw 6-10 yr old kids enjoying it, too.

We came here to ride the carousel. It’s also called the Ovid Hazen Wells Carousel. And we found it to be a very interesting one. Made somewhere between 1910 and 1915 by Herschell Spillman, it seems to be a transitional carousel. Alan Herschell split with...More

We've been going here for 3 years & it has yet to get old. What kid doesn't like like carousels, mini trains & ice cream? They got this... And real cheap too. I stocked up on tickets. Line can be long in summer.

A small park in nearby Wheaton, the train ride was excellent for young kids. Cost of only $2 per ticket and a ride that is 15 minutes long, perfect for little ones. A nice bucolic park, fun playground for older kids and the merry-go-round, a...More

The carousel and train are inside the park and next to the swings and slides. The train is a lot of fun around Halloween when they have the "Haunted Train". It is fine for little ones because it is not too scary...just fun.

The train went really fast (10 minute ride). If it were slower it would have been scarier. Would have liked to have seen it "break down" and "attacked" by zombies or something to prolong the ride. But hey, $6 plus the carousel was a great...More

About a month ago we paid with a credit card. This was an important question - some carousels take cash only.
