Our family of 10 went on a champagne sunset cruise. Halfway through the cruise one of our party got sick. So we decided to cut our cruise short by one hour. We asked for two bottles of water and a soft drink. One of the waters was used to clean off the sick family member and the other was used to wash off the boat. At the end of the shortened cruise we were charged for the waters and soft drink.! The first mate was inattentive. He was on his cell phone and never offered us the champagne for which we paid. I wrote to the captain about this but never got the courtesy of a response

I confess to having sailed on The Lady Patty many times. Of course the type of sail that you will have depends a good deal on mother nature...but she is a gorgeous vessel. If you sail with Capt. Mathias you will get some great Bay Lore and his love of Lady Patty and her history will be obvious. A great family outing , or romantic adventure. Highly recommend this charter operation! (and amazing hand squeezed margaritas too!)

If one thing could make a long weekend with my family more than amazing--this was it. What a totally relaxing, exhilarating, and fun experience. We all know the Chesapeake is gorgeous, but when you're sailing on such a magnificent vessel with people who love it and are willing to share that love with you, it's a very special thing. That's what it's like to be aboard the Lady Patty with Captain Jeff and his knowledgeable, helpful, & capable First Mate, Jackson. They were both so easy to talk with and welcomed our sometimes-good-and-sometimes-silly questions. My family was overwhelmingly grateful that I had found and chartered this 2-hour sunset sail. It made me feel great. After all, can you think of a better place to watch the sun set then in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay? Oh! and the Golden Sunset Margaritas are a must. I'm not a drinker, but I had heard about these and had to try one. My daughter agreed that she would finish it after my taste--never happened. I drank the entire Margarita....delish. And important to some of us is that all the bar beverages were served in an appropriate GLASS glass, not paper or plastic. That might not be important to everyone, but the feel of a nice, heavy glass in my hand adds to the enjoyment of a mixed drink. Thank you Captain Jeff and Jack. You made our vacation.

Capatin Jeff and his First Mate Jack were great hosts while sailing on their boat the Lady Patty. They made the experience very laid back and fun. Drinks we're well prepared and attended to. The crew was able to answer any questions about the boat ans the surrounding area. Highly recommend this if you are in the area.
