Great place for all ages although adults will enjoy it more than the kids. It's more than just a museum, so plan on exploring the rest of the village. Lots of history explained and live demonstrations.

Made iron from bog ore found in local waterway. Brought in shells and made charcoal to produce pig iron. In season Apr-Oct has artisans at work. Cypress Swamp trail on site. Good Day Trip for couple or families.
