We actually decided to do a solo by ourselves 5 mile hike on the pretty deserted Green Chandler trail. It was one of the eeriest hikes I have ever done. First let me say we didn't see a soul, but we did see some weird stuff. This was in the middle of a Sunday afternoon with beautiful sunny skies and neither one of us scare easy. I wish I could post some of the pictures I took but they wouldn't come through on trip advisor site. Stayed in a 6 person mini cabin for 4 nights. Cabin was nice. Air conditioned, 5 outlets for charging devices, had okay 3g service with Verizon. Bathrooms were really nice, probably the best in any state park I been in. There is a outdoor kitchen sink with hot water for cleaning dishes. The water was very hot each time. The cons are short and I am nitpicking. The lighting in front room needs higher wattage our an other lamp over the table. The air conditioner is in the back room with the bunk beds, which was colder than the front room. However there ceiling fan made the front room comfortable and I am not really complaining. Staff was really nice and fast when helping us. Close to both Maryland and Virginia beaches and Ocean City. Pokomoke river has float opportunities. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. The biggest downfall was the bugs. They were bad at times. Just bring spray and citronella candles. Also if I were to return, air conditioning would be a requirement.…
