Always enjoyable--whether camping, having a picnic, boating, walking the nature trails, or . . . Just enjoying a delicious ice cream cone. Park and its store are well-maintained and CLEAN! Friendly, helpful staff, too!

We did the “Changing forest” trail. It’s easy, but really nice. The swamp part is very interesting. Seeing drinking hunters close by was disconcerting,to say the least. But that is unfortunately something you have to deal with during hunting season

Great campsite. Peaceful and very mature trees for shade. Teenagers loved camp site and walking around the camp ground. The view at the docks was beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff at the campground store.

The kayak rental at the bridge in downtown Snow Hill charges $20 an hour for a 2 person kayak, the price is worth it and the birding and waterlife and seclusion upstream are terrific.
