We stayed at the Bela Vista inn on the trip to Jalapão, we informed the agency that my son does not eat local food, which according to them the inn was informed, however they did not have any protein for my son, neither chicken breast, steak or ground beef. There is also no snack bar or anything nearby that sells food. The inn has a structure and a bar with various beverages, but the food basically consists of cooked meat and chicken thighs. Dozens of tourists pass by there every day, but they don't serve anything other than what is planned for dinner...

The Bela Vista boiler is located in an inn of the same name with rooms named after cerrado animals. The rooms are charming, very cozy and clean. Dinner was wonderful, there was even chicken fricassé and escondidinho and breakfast wasn't even worth mentioning. We went with Safari Tourism, another company that I recommend. The boiler is wonderful and as we were staying we were able to experience going there at night.

I didn't really like the boilers in general, this one in particular I found to be very deep and it doesn't throw us up like they say. As I don't know how to swim or even dive, I was scared. It's not that attractive to children. But the structure of this place is very good, a great option for accommodation by the looks of it. A positive point about the boilers are the photos, they look beautiful. But 20 minutes are enough.

JALAPAO region in TOCANTINS State, BRAZIL: wonderful place to be, the “FERVEDOUROS”, natural waterfalls, clean rivers and lakes, all unforgettable for ECOtourists and nature lovers.
FERVEDOUROS as shown in the picture are a kind of fountain fed by the underground water. One can float around don't need to be a skilled swimmer .... it is a lot of fun!!! Water temperature is about 75degF.
ROADS to go over there are in MISERABLE STATUS , if you can name this a “road” at all. My backbone was crashed down after the second day on the road and I have just survived the remaining days laid down in the car to reduce impacts and loaded with painkillers.

Very pretty setting with a wood board walk! Good fried mandioca on site with cold beer, the nicest Fervedouro in São Felix. Do visit!

SÃO FÉLIX DO TOCANTINS - This was one of the boilers with the most structure and better organization. As we went more at the end of the day the water was colder and with less visibility, but still the experience was wonderful.

This was the largest Fervedouro we visited. Very handsome! Stay of 15 minutes. It has a restaurant structure and restrooms for tourists. We went with Cerrado Dourado.
