Great outing with or with out the kiddos

I just visited with my 5 & 8 yo who had a blast. I was exhausted but they have already asked to return. Both made up to the green level and where super proud of themselves.

COVID friendly non-screen activity!

My kids got out of the house and off their ipad. No way to focus on anything else with this course! They also started acting like a team instead of enemies because they had to help each other.

It’s a ZIP to have fun at the Adventure Park at Sandy Springs!
Apr 2021
I took my seven year-old there for “Superhero training” and she loved it. The staff was very helpful and extremely responsive; they answered any questions and assisted as needed.

The safety training was very straight forward. The video is the same video posted on the website so it is was to watch it at least once before you show up. One note for the zip lines, the staff should provide instruction for smaller kids on how to stop if they slide back from the dismount area. My child slid backwards (due to gravity) from the dismount area twice and was not able to get off the line because the instructions were to keep hands on the trolley. The simple fix was to have her place a hand on the cable once at the dismount area to prevent her from sliding backwards, and then use a hand over hand technique to pull up to the dismount area in order to stand up and unclip.

The harnesses were easy to adjust and fairly comfortable. The safety features were easy to use, ensure that you stay safely connected to the cables on the courses throughout the park and prevented any falls.

The courses are rated by skill level, are fairly long and take some time to complete, so plan ahead. They were, however, all fun.

They have a food truck, small lockers, and restrooms on site. The restrooms were port-a-potties, but they did have running water and soap to wash hands. They do have covered areas and picnic benches where you can sit and eat. The parking area is crushed rock and grass.

We had a great time and will be back for more ADVENTURE!

Thank you.

Go-to place for kid and family fun

Our favorite go-to place for elementary to high school-age kids. Many happy memories. Never have to worry about safety or finding satisfaction in a fun and challenging course.

Great confidence builder for kids
Apr 2021 • Family
My 14-year old daughter started with double black and zipped right through it. (Note that she is a gymnast, very athletic and had done a similar park a few years back.) She said it was definitely challenging, required a lot of arm strength and the scariest was the ending. However, it was the build up of dropping off that created the fear. She said once she jumped off, it was not scary at all. It was the first time for my niece (12) and nephew (10). They loved it and did awesome. Great confidence builder as they both got up to the blue level and were very proud of their accomplishment. Great workout for moms too! 😊

We had an awesome time once again at Sandy Spring! The Covid precautions were thoughtful but not intrusive and the park is as wonderful as ever.

Great for all ages

We love going here, and during Covid especially it's a great place to be. There are courses for all levels/abilities, and even when fully booked (by Covid standards) it's not at all crowded. I actually like it better, but I'm sure it's not great for their income. I observed that you can have Papa John's delivered to the grounds -- great idea! We brought snacks and enjoyed them at the picnic tables. I brought teenagers and they all had a great time. I (parent) peeled off and left them to themselves. I did a black diamond and a DOUBLE BLACK on my own -- wouldn't have been able to do that if we had stuck together because they aren't as in shape as I am (ha ha). I also wouldn't have been able to do the double black under a non-Covid setting because I am seriously slow at those difficult elements, all in all, it was great for me!

I went with my Girl Scout troup and it was sooooo much fun! I had a blast and didn't wanna go home. I hung out with my friends and I think in my opinion, the green course thing is best for 11 and 12 year olds.

Great adventure, challenging, thrilling, awesome staff. Don't go directly to the hard ones. Make sure try a medium hard trail first.

Not just for kids

My husband and I went for our nephew’s birthday party and enjoyed it as much as he did! The experience allowed us to get out of our comfort zone both mentally and physically, yet in a totally safe way. The harness system takes a bit of practice, but ensures you are safe by forcing you to clip in and out in a way that guarantees you are clipped in with at least one of the two clips at any point. We think this safety system should be better highlighted because it’s truly engineering genius, German...of course. The courses themselves are at various levels so you can work your way up, the harder they get the more strength, bravery, and technique you will need. We encountered a women who was over 60 and had gone 172 times (season pass holder) who is now doing the most challenging course which I couldn’t dream of barely surviving the advanced courses. We are definitely going back, a great change to our typical workout routine and so much fun
