My first visit but definitely not my last. The staff were very helpful and I felt very safe up on the platforms as well as the elements. Ingenious system used to keep you safe at all times. Will definitely suggest this to my friends and co-workers.

My husband and I went for our nephew’s birthday party and enjoyed it as much as he did! The experience allowed us to get out of our comfort zone both mentally and physically, yet in a totally safe way. The harness system takes a bit of practice, but ensures you are safe by forcing you to clip in and out in a way that guarantees you are clipped in with at least one of the two clips at any point. We think this safety system should be better highlighted because it’s truly engineering genius, German...of course. The courses themselves are at various levels so you can work your way up, the harder they get the more strength, bravery, and technique you will need. We encountered a women who was over 60 and had gone 172 times (season pass holder) who is now doing the most challenging course which I couldn’t dream of barely surviving the advanced courses. We are definitely going back, a great change to our typical workout routine and so much fun

My 8 year old son and I went for the second time last weekend, and he was on Cloud 9! We had a great time - brought a picnic and stayed for hours. This is so much fun, as well as great exercise and time outside! Plus, the Park owners did a truly remarkable job of adapting to operations in the time of Coronavirus, adding new policies, guidelines, and a handy safety video, and even handing out mini hand sanitizer bottles upon our arrival. We felt safe the entire time. The employees are also very helpful and kind, and gave great advice on which courses would be just right for my adventurous but young son.

After prepping for 3 months to reopen during these times, we're so glad to hear that the work paid off. I'm glad that you and your son had such a great time! Thank you for the review!

Oh my gosh, I underestimated how fun this was going to be. We were on a field trip and I ran through the trails grabbing photos and videos, and the kids did fantastic. It's such a great experience for team building and building confidence. I saw some real tear-jerking moments where kids were helping each other and cheering each other on. It was a great day!

We loved the adventure Park, and can't wait to return. Everything went very well, and we had loads of fun, including our 7 year old who I wasn't sure would enjoy the experience. Highly recommended.
A couple of things could have been better for us... I wish they had some sort of height requirements mentioned on the courses. Our son went on the green course, and we realized halfway that the harness would have to be put too high for him to be able to complete the activity. So we had to go back to the next exit and kind of leave things midway!
We called the staff a couple of times for help, they were very helpful, and handled the situations very well, completely satisfied with that. But the part where you need to call them was hard, you just need to yell 'staff' and it took my whole family, and people on the neighboring trees to be able to get their attention!

This was me and my guest first time zip-lining!
I was visiting from NY and I made a human error of booking for the wrong location. After explaining to staff not only did they understand completely. But they made the rest of my journey seamless and left me with no worries as they were able to accommodate me and my guest quickly and efficiently. Really took a weight off of my shoulders and we had a fabulous time throughout our experience! The most exciting thing about The Adventure Park at Sandy Springs, was that it’s more of a mental challenge than physical. To coach yourself and others through the obstacles is definitely a different battle of believing in yourself some may never thought they’ll come to.
Thank you for the experience.

I took my son and a friend (9yo) to the Park and they had a great time. They were able to navigate different levels of courses independently, so I was able to follow along on the ground w/o climbing myself. The instructors also allowed them to graduate to the next difficulty levels when they'd demonstrated their ability on easier courses.
The food truck also made feeding the kids easy during a break.
We'll definitely be back.

This place is awesome! We go about once a year and it is always a thrill! Climbs are fun, staff is friendly and helpful. Took a little longer this time to go through the training session, but totally understandable with all of the covid precautions implemented. And I love that they offer a cheap glove purchase option ($2) so you don’t have to spend over $10 on leather gloves! They have the best cancellation policy, so there’s never any risk in making reservations! Love this place!

Adventure Park is a tremendously fun and exhilarating activity. All staff members are patient, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and just cool and good people.
It was an awesome experience to be up in the trees, fully secured in our harnesses that made us feel and kept us safe. The engineering and detail in every element on every course is top notch. I was very impressed with how meticulously constructed every element is.
We will definitely be back here again. What a fun activity for the entire family--regardless of age.

Levels for everyone. Fun ziplines, fun climbing. I kept thinking ‘who designs these courses?’ because every one is different! Even athletic kids (13-18) were challenged and got a good workout. So many courses to choose from. Great place for family fun!

Hello!
I am planning to bring a big group (16-20 adults) to the adventure park on a Saturday in November at 3pm, but I'm nervous about how busy it might be.
Any tips about going with a group would be super helpful! I really appreciate it!
Thank you!!
Hello!! Groups are always welcome! Busy times vary depending on the day, so we advise making reservations to secure your climb time! Feel free to call our office at (240) 389-4386 to make your reservation!
How much is it go into?

Their current prices should be on the website. We paid $54/adult, $50 for my 11 year old; covers the gear, initial instruction, followed by 3 hours of climbing

How does the park avoid long wait times at each obstacle?
Hello ~ sent this email directly to the Park Manager and have not received an acknowledgement and/or response. While we returned during the day and payed more, we'd like to try the Twilight Adventure but are hesitant based on our last experience, Any insight on whether or not the park has a process in place to ensure no "back-ups"/long waits at each obstacle? We certainly did not get our money's worth of zip lining on this evening:
This past Saturday night, we surprised my son and took him and a couple of his friends (ages 13, 14 and 15) so they could experience the park in the evening. The weather was absolutely perfect and they couldn't wait to get started!
After training, off they went ... huge smiles on their faces and high-fiving all the way to the start of the courses. As parents, we thought we'd earned some brownie points and high-fived as well!
When we came back at 10pm for pick-up, to our shock and surprise, all 3 of them were sitting on a bench looking pretty despondent and the mood was somber (the complete opposite of when we left). I asked how things went and they said it was a huge disappointment. They didn't get to zipline much during the 2 hours they were there and clearly, they were upset. We were all hoping that this would be a night for them to remember and felt awful for the boys. We rode home in silence, and in an attempt to salvage the evening, I promised we'd go again and perhaps even try another park in the area. That perked them up a little.
Apparently, it was great at first, especially when they felt like they had the park to themselves after 3-4 obstacles. Then all of a sudden, they caught up with a group of 3 20-something year old girls. This is when things went awry.
These girls took an inordinate amount of time getting from one obstacle to the next. They'd start out by taking numerous selfies and then waited for each girl to get to the other side before moving onto the next platform. They used this "process" (selfies first, then waiting for each other on the other side of the ziplines before starting the next) the entire way through the obstacle. By the time the boys finished this 1 single obstacle (well over an hour!) all the others in the park (the ones they really wanted to hit) were shut down. The only ones left were the easy ones (purple and yellow).
I asked if there was an employee in the park who either went with them as a guide or was simply walking around and monitoring the pace at which people moved through the obstacles, thinking that this could have helped to move these girls along. The boys said no and there was absolutely nothing they could do to address the situation. They basically felt "trapped" and just followed behind these girls.
I thought that by sharing this experience with you (vs. complain about it on social media), you'd have a chance to address what could possibly be an ongoing problem that others have encountered. It surprised me that there aren't staff members walking around through the park (or even "stationed" at platforms), ensuring that the traffic is flowing and people are moving at a good pace through the obstacles.
While the whole concept of ziplining in the evening was super exciting, we may just opt to go during the day. I'm hoping they'll want to give SS Adventure Park another try!
Thanks for the opportunity to share this feedback.

Did the boys ask the girls if they could go ahead of them? I've found that there can be folks who are moving more slowly for many reasons (other than selfies) such as nervousness or inexperience - there seems to be a norm of politely asking folks if quicker folks can move ahead - and I've never seen anyone refuse anyone else. I know that might feel difficult for the boys to do....

How do you compare Sandy Spring Adventure Park with Go Ape? We're novices, live nearby in NOVA, and need to select one park for a visit this week. Thanks in advance.

Adventure Park has a LOT more challenges...very well done...definitely worth your trip
Is the park good for 30yr old men? Will I have a great time or is the park greatly impact with children?

We took a boy scout troop including adult leaders and all had a blast. You won't run out of challenges and most of us didn't make it to the most difficult in the time we had
