Although it was late Fall weather, the area still has a lot to offer. The water and wildlife and the restaurants, along with the fact that it is another Maryland treasure!

This old maritime fishing village is rather unique and worth a slow driving exploration. Well worthwhile having a chat with some of the locals.

I enjoyed seeing the Tilghman Island "W" houses; a local architectural style unique to the island. The Tilghman Watermen's Museum is located inside a "W" house so if you'd like to go inside one, check out the museum. Otherwise, check out Tilghman Island for the...More

We just rode through to check it out and there's a great restaurant just over the bridge. Good fishing location in a laid back atmosphere. Bring the children but keep an eye on them please.

This is a gorgeous area! We just drove though but had to stop and enjoy the scenic views. Whoever lives here is extremely lucky! :-)

It was just a day trip. Beautiful homes and scenery and this idea of a hundred word limit is ridiculous.

There used to be a fleet of Skipjacks here, but now there are only two in serious disrepair. A good restaurant sits right next to the channel at the drawbridge.

What a tranquil place. You know if the main feature is a bridge that goes up and down a record number of times it is not going to have night life. But you come here for the crab, canoeing, boating, bald eagles and Ospreys and the...More
