This place is great because after a little while in a regular ice rink, it can become a little boring. But it's super fun here! They play music, and there are shops and restaurants nearby as well. I come here every year.

Great for all ages, non-skaters and above! They have stands to help the kids, and adults, hold to something other than the rail. 250 yards to Metro; close to restaurants, parking within 3 minute walk; skating rink is small; used for other recreation when ice is melted.

Rockville is the largest outdoor ice skating rink in Maryland. Thank you for your review and rating, I think your comment is confusing for people regarding the ice is melted. The area is used for other recreation when the ice skating rink is removed.

There is a splash pad for kids, lots of benches and chairs to sit, AstroTurf so kids can run and not hit the hard ground. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Good people watching. Plenty of garage and street parking.
