It's worth a side trip to take the Oxord to Bellevue Ferry! There are wonderful views of the towns and the Tred Avon River and a lot fo fun as well. It's reportely the oldest privately opperated ferry service in the US. However, they do not take credit or debit cards! Cash or check only! Check the website for schedule... More

Fun and inexpensive way to spend some time on the water. I had worried about making the boat schedule, but we just showed up, got in line behind the other two cars and waited. Smooth loading on an off the ferry. Nice ride on a beautiful day. Were there midweek with no problems, I wonder if there is a longer... More

Only an 8 minute crossing, but you feel like a new person when you arrive on the other side! This is like a boat ride into times gone by. Ferry takes cars, bikes and foot passengers. $13 per car for a one-way crossing. The folks who operate the ferry are so darn nice! They were thanking us and shaking our... More

Too bad it only takes 15 minutes . Beautifull ride inbetween the birds . The two-men staff show that they love their job .

We crossed the Ferry with our car. It was cheap, fast and efficient. Just too short, would have liked the crossing to have lasted longer.
