The case was in good shape despite the summer drought. Some fairway spots were not great, but overall it was good. The clubhouse is under construction so the trailer is used for transactions. There's no rest room there and the spot-a-pots were disgusting. We booked online and got a good rate.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. A few spots on the course did need some recovery time after a particularly hot and dry spell this summer, but we're back on our way to our normal great conditions. We're also excited about construction of a new clubhouse and cart barn. Both are on track to be completed in the spring. Our Robert Trent Jones-designed course will remain open throughout the winter and spring, but we are definitely looking forward to our clubhouse grand opening. We hope you'll come back and check it out. Thanks for playing Ocean Pines!

decent course, kinda pricey, friendly staff, good condition, tricky and small greens, reasonably wide fairways, obeying covid rules

My friend and I played for the first time here since her family bought a house in Ocean Pines. We loved the course it was challenging but beautiful changing scenery holes the whole time. We had a great game here. If you live in Ocean Pines and show your card you get a discount.

A group of eight of us played Ocean Pines Golf Club on 9/19/20 as part of a golf package. We have played this course before and liked the layout and it was in overall good condition previously. All eight of us were very disappointed in the condition of the course on 9/19/20. Overall the tee boxes were decent, with a few being in rough shape. The fairways were questionable on many holes, the greens overall were terrible at best. We all were very disappointed with the overall condition of the course and will likely not return to play here in the future. For the price paid, we all felt we were not given the conditions we paid for. The inside staff was friendly and professional, the cart attendant was short and rude. The new clubhouse does look great and is a excellent improvement.

Course is close to where we stay on Coastal Hgwy, easy to get to and a decent place to get in a round if time is an issue... We played it on our final day before heading out of town for the reasons mentioned.. The course was not in the best of shape but it obviously has issues with water if it's a wet golf season or they have a lot of rain in a short time.. Such was our case.. The course it's self is not very exciting. .. while you're playing, you get the feeling that you've played that hole before AND YOU HAVE, 3 or 4 times !!

Thank you for taking the time to play and review our course, Greg. You're right about the weather. Our area was hit with substantial amounts of rain recently, and so the conditions have been pretty wet. We're sorry to hear that you didn't find our Robert Trent Jones-designed course more exciting. We do know that many golfers find it to be a classic and challenging, but fair, layout. We hope you'll give us a try again when things have dried out a bit!

I'm a home owner/part timer in Ocean Pines so I'm down here from PA ten times a year playing golf. Ocean Pines is one of the less expensive courses in the area and it's a good value. It also has a little different feel than other courses in the area. Tree lined fairways with the tall pines almost feels like you're in North Carolina. Much different than the salt marshes at some of the other courses around OC. It can be challenging too. First time I played here I got a hot dog at the turn and it was a 20 minute wait! And then it was overcooked! That was the last time I got a hot dog at the turn. Last time I played here was early November 2018. After a record setting rainy year the fairways were really soft and it was cart path only, but so was every other course in the area. Check it out if you're in OC, it's an enjoyable course.

Thank you so much for sharing your review and for your continued patronage of Ocean Pines, Don. We agree that our Robert Trent Jones-designed course is one of the area's best values in golf! We do apologize for the wait for your hot dog. That is definitely not typical of what we offer and may have been during a period of time when we had some problems with grill management. Management has changed since that time, fortunately. We're looking forward to the construction of a new clubhouse in 2020, so we hope you'll check that out once it's completed! Thanks for recommending Ocean Pine - we look forward to having you play a round with us again soon!

Nice layout however greens have a lot of issues. Worse yet was the 30 seniors group that went off ahead of us causing a 4 hr round thru 12 holes and a marshal that stopped to talk to them but never move anyone along. We quit after 13 holes exhausted from waiting every hole.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed our Robert Trent Jones layout but are sorry that slow play interfered with the enjoyment of your round. Although I'm not certain when you played, I'm not aware of any play recently that was as slow as you reported. It is possible on particularly busy days, especially if we happen to be cart-path only, that rounds could take longer than our normal pace of play of about 4 1/2 hours. We do try our best to keep play moving along, but it sounds as though we didn't succeed on the day you played, and for that we apologize. I hope you know that your experience isn't typical and that you'll come back and give us another try. I would truly like to know more about we could have improved your visit to Ocean Pines Golf Club and invite you to reach out to me at 410-641-6057 or golf@oceanpinesgolf.org. I look forward to hearing from you and having you play another round with us soon.

This is a great 18 hole course that winds through the Ocean Pines Community.
The course is challenging and scenic. I play recreational golf and enjoy it. But the course can challenge a low-handicap golfer as well.
