Highly recommend. We were there during off season. Stuff was friendly. Seats are nice and recline and have heaters. Popcorn was PK but not great. Don’t judge the book by the cover. The outside looks very plain, but the theater inside is well updated and restrooms had touchless fixtures and was clean. Because it was off season it was light attendance on a Tuesday night at 5:00 pm. But the ticket price was great at $6.00 for “terrific Tuesday” promotion.

Great, clean and comfortable The new reclining, heated seats are comfy. The place is kept very clean and the sound is perfect. This is a smaller theater with one section of seats. There is plenty of room so you can get by other patrons with no problem. Even the side seats can see the screen very well.

The refurbished Sun & Surf is great! The reclining seats and renewed interior make for a comfortable movie watching experience. The theater still looks more or less the same from the outside, but the inside is wonderful. The staff is doing a good job in maintaining the theater as well.

Took my daughter to this movie theater and I have nothing to say but awful things about the total experience.
Went to their joke of a website to buy tickets The website not only charged my credit card twice but also when I went to the front office the attendant told me that there were no seats in my name. The attendant then let more than 20 people go ahead of me in line before he acknowledged me again. He then called his manager who was a complete and total douche who made absolutely no effort what so ever to try to resolve the problem whatsoever. Once in fact telling me "its not my problem because I don't run the website." I was blindsided. I asked him what we should do and he shrugged his shoulders. Not sure if he was just really incompetent or just like that because he was in his late 30s managing a movie theater. Now I have to fight with a bank.

Phone line says $8 for a matinee and showed up to be told "sorry that just stopped and each ticket will be $13 now during the days now that we are in tourist season" -- Appreciated the honest teenager but this is the biggest dumpy ripoff "hope for a cold or rainy day to screw tourists" theatre ever. Never. Again.

Very nice people - on phone and in person. The theater was very clean and the seats were luxurious and heated!!
They went out of their way with signature beverage and complimentary desserts for the preview. They worked hard to make the event pleasant and memorable.

I love those seats! Just stretch out your legs, lean back and enjoy! Plus you rserve your seat so you kow it is there when you go down the aisles!

I had the pleasure of going on a Sun otter tour entitled marine ecology. This tour was totally fascinating from the beginning to the end. It is 6.5 hours so do plan on taking a day to do it. Everything was well planned, well delivered, and educational. For folks who live in the area you find out details of marine life in the area, The bus is clean and comfortable. The certified tour guide is knowledgeable. It was a pleasnat experience. I encourage all to look into this new tour business.

we have lived here for years and always hated the theater here. Recently we started driving to rehoboth to go see a movie. But don't have to do this anymore! This place has been totally redone! It's marvelous! Seats recline and are super comfortable!! We saw San Andreas. Movie was awful but the new seats made it tolerable. The staff is happy and helpful. Nice change!! So happy about this change. Definitely go here to see your next movie!!

So you thought stadium seating in a movie theatre is the best, well the Sun & Surf movie theater in Ocean City, Maryland is way above the traditional stadium seating, don't be fooled by this being a small one story building it was recently renovated and is a top notch theatre, kudos to the owners of this theatre you have done a great job and I will be back. So if you find yourself in OC and enjoy a good movie and comfort of home you need to check out this theater, you will be glad you did!
