Typical boardwalk, clean and wide. Has transportation. For $3 to go up and down but defeats the purpose of it - which is to walk and explore. Young kids little unnerved of tshirts with disney stars with tattoos found in some shops. Had great sand art display and was fun to explore.

I am not a fan of boardwalks, as I typically find them dirty, cheesy, and way overrated...but of course my kids love boardwalks. However, I do feel Ocean City's board walk is a much nicer, cleaner experience. In addition, the carnies and sales people aren't near as loud and intrusive as other boardwalks we've experienced.

Be sure to get there on the early side wrote it gets too crowded. Fun to walk around, play in the arcades, people watch, or just hang out on the beach. Lots of places to get food - though the only kosher options are the Baskin-Robbins and Dip-n-Dots.

Never taken my older children to oc, always went to de, my 14yr old was so excited, I'm glad the police presence was there since their was a lot of people, just wish people would respect the non smoking policy on the boardwalk other than that it was a good time

We loved the boardwalk. We spent time during to day at the beach and evenings and nights we walked along the boardwalk. There's something for everyone. Really pretty. Tram was convenient but does take a long time to travel as it makes a lot of stops along the boardwalk.

Fun, lots to do. Classic boardwalk atmosphere. I heard can be alittle crazy at night with people drinking but we went during day and enjoyed it.

The boardwalk is legendary really. In the evening it's mobbed. We enjoy people watching so will walk awhile and then take a seat and watch the crowd go by. It's got that NYC sort of feeling (a lot of life) only it's mixed with the beach feeling. Usually a breeze in the evening. We went there as teenagers, took our... More

I really enjoyed my visit to Ocean City Maryland. I like it much better than Ocean City New Jersey which I live very close to. OC Maryland is clean, quaint, and the people are very friendly. There are lots of great shops and many different eateries to choose from. The boardwalk did have transportation but that is less likely to... More

I'm not one for boardwalks. I have been to this Boardwalk and the one at Rehobeth beach. This one definitely has more of a boardwalk vibe in a good way. The stores and restaurants all repeat each other every few blocks, but it's cool to visit.

Our 5th trip to the OCMD and always enjoy walking the Boardwalk, morning, noon and night. If you don't like crowds, don't go after dinner time. Its a busy place. If you are an early riser like I was, go and enjoy a nice walk/jog/run on the Boardwalk. There is something about watching the sun rise out in the ocean.... More
