Went jet skiing one day and parasailing the next. Doing this in the bay is perfect for people who aren’t familiar with either sport. We had Jacob for jet skiing and he was good and Capt and Aaron for parasailing. And they were great. Very entertaining. I’m usually not one to get the picture packages but definitely worth it for this trip.

This water sports hub is very convenient to many places and has great service. Their gear seems very well maintained and their guides very professional and safety was key. Loved this experience. Highly recommend this place.

Sean D was on point! Had a wonderful experience. He gave us extra RPMS, what a adrenaline rush. We fell in and everything....we started swimming towards our jet ski and realized the we could walk....hilarious! I loved it. We had the whole jet ski area to ourselves and that was a good thing cause we used it ALL! This was my first time on a jet ski its a definite do again! WOOHOO!!!!

My family rented jet ski's today and we had a great time. The entire staff was very professional, personable and knowledgeable. The jet ski's are like new and very fast. 2 riders not with us fell off and Sean our guide was amazingly fast to help them. They flipped the machine and he got them back on and going in no time. We have rented there in years past and have consistently had a great experience. Highly recommend.

We recently went on a vacation to OCMD and rented jet skis which is something we've been doing for the past few years when we visit Ocean City. This is something we have always loved to do and have never had a problem. On our last day we decided to try renting jet skis from OC Baysports to experience different jet skis and a different riding area. Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience. First, the staff was very immature and although they were with you on the ride they didn't seem to be very "with it." The guide leisurely mentioned that the water was choppy but said we'd be alright (if you ever hear this please ask them to elaborate). As we got a little ways out we had to stop because the guides were talking and messing around. Well needless to say we tipped off the jet ski sitting still. The waves were so big coming from every direction and it was almost impossible to ride. Although I love to ride jet skis, I asked to go back before we even made it to the riding area (I guess my real goal for the day was to throw $80 in the water). After they took us back they said we couldn't get any money back but not to feel bad because almost everyone who went out that day came back. After doing some research later that day I learned that OC had a small craft advisory for that day--that's some real good business right there. This experience was a total rip off. I would never go back there and will be sure not to recommend it.

Came to Baysports after shopping around. Best choice of our vacation for sure! Greeted by friendly staff, clean environment, and nice bay views made Baysports stick out. After checking in, the guides were super nice explaining the rules and making sure we were going to have fun. Definitely will be visiting here again and again!

We have been to 3 or 4 different resorts that had wave runners to rent in the Bahamas, the Outer Banks, and Puerto Rico and this by far was the worst.
The machines were new and relatively fast. The problem was the guides, or should I say guards. These guys were like the gestapo, they were so concerned about their machines, and probably their insurance premiums, that they literally took the fun out of the experience. I am a middle aged father of two that was there with my wife and 16 year old daughter and I thought it was boring. I thought taking a test on water safety was ok, but the 2-3 guards that watch over you like a hawk go way beyond keeping things safe. I would not recommend this company for the wave runner rentals in Ocean City.

Even though this post is an old post we still wanted to respond to this review. I am sorry to hear about your bad experience with the guides that day. The guides are not out there to take the fun away from any of our customers but there is a fine line between being to strict and not being strict enough. Our guides are trained by not only our mangers but also the DNR (police on the water). The reason they have to be strict is because 1.) the safety of our customers is very important and 2.) the safety of our equipment. There may be times when the guides get to strict but you have to put yourself in their shoes as well. They are in charge of at least 10 customers and 10 Jetskis and they do not want to see anybody get injured in anyway. There are other rentals who are much more relaxed but they also have a bad safety record. Now when you rent jetskis in Mexico, Bahamas, Porto Rico etc, they do not have guides because it is not a law to have them. Here in Ocean City, MD we HAVE to have the guides out there with our customers since it is the law. Since this post was in 2011, we have since then fine tuned our training of our guides and have improved in this area.
