Beautiful views, great walkway around a lake. I sometimes throw in a few crab hand lines and catch mostly undersized crabs but always throw them back in. Must do is to visit this giant park between Thanksgiving & New Years for Winterfest. They install over 750,00 LED light bulbs in smash displays. Best & sure the largest shore park on the East coast. Quiet & very clean town. Heard they have over 200 places places to eat. Nice boardwalk with a huge parking lot on the South end ( think it holds 1,500 cars ). We usually go to OC MD a week in the summer and Thanksgiving week and some years a lo g weekend. Have attended at least six shows at the fairly new & large convention center.( craft shows & boat show ).

Wonderful paved walking path for strollers, wheelchairs, young walkers, dogs. Awesome playground for kids, and a separate, covered, adult area with exercise equipment. Heated bathrooms in the buildings which were wonderful on the cold windy day we visited; also had port-a-potties available. Great pier to walk out on. Very clean! While this park is right in the thick of everything "touristy", it was a welcome outdoor/let the kids run/non-souvenir place to spend some time.

Always enjoy the sound and sand on the beach. Other people just trash the beach though. Someone, even lifeguards need to watch people leaving trash on the beach. If my grandkids were there, they could of easily picked up an empty bottle of alcohol and put it to their mouth or stepped on a sharp cap. Otherwise beach is airways enjoyable!

I had heard of Northside park but never visited until last night. It's a really nice park with large playground, ball fields, walking track and a lake for fishing. It's a nice place to bring kids and enjoy some time away from the beach and boardwalk

We visit the park almost every night while we are in OC. The play ground is great for kids with tons of activities. There are walking trails and a large pond to sit by and relax. The pier out into the bay has great views and fun to throw pots out for crabs.

I had read this was a great place to see a sunset in OCMD and that was absolutely true! We sat on the pier and ate a packed dinner while the sun set. It was not crowded and had great views. We enjoyed walking around the park too.

The best part is the long pier that extends out into the bay. I spent an hour here just enjoying the beautiful surroundings. They have a small paddle board rental at the pier. Lovely grounds and walking paths. Really pleasant and courteous folk who use this park. It’s really a gem and we are so lucky it’s right in back of our holiday inn. I chose this hotel location because of the park so I could get some nice walks in early morning.

Beautiful clean park. Make sure you walk across the water on other side of park. Beautiful to just sit and relax or rent canoes are fish and go crabbing or walk the trail or let children play on the park.

Northside Park is one of our favorite attractions in OCMD. We use this park daily when in town. There is something for everyone here - various walking jogging paths, baseball fields, soccer fields, playground, pier, lakes, crabbing, beautiful views. The Sundaes in the Park are also a lot of fun.

One of OC’s best outdoors attractions. Multiple softball fields, an indoor recreation center hosting several activities, and an outdoor walking track with several courses mapped out. The park also has a playground and a covered pavilion with BBQ grills. There are several other activities there as well. I saw where you could rent a kayak or standing paddle board. While you’re walking around the soccer field, don’t forget to take a look at the pier that goes very far out into the bay. My wife and I go walking here several times a month.

Are there any activities or anything going on @ the park in November?

There was a community center building at the park, so I would look up Ocean City parks and recreation and try to find a schedule.
Who is playing at north side park on 7 July. Can’t find the schedule
