The Boardwalk Tram offers a great means of transportation. Once you have walked one way down the boardwalk to the end and have shopped along the way it is nice to ride the tram back to your parked car.

I was not thrilled about having to walk 2 1/4 miles to the other end of the boardwalk, so we took the tram. Well worth the $4 each way. We sat at the back and talked with Maria, the rear conductor. She was so friendly...More

Smooth sailing at the beginning of the line at approx. 23rd St and rode the tram down to Jolly Rancher. On the way back, the driver passed my family over and acknowledged another family, stopped and let them on to ride...what selective sight!

A great way to see the entire boardwalk if time is of the essence. Starting from 27th St, where the boardwalk begins. You can pay either $3 (one way) or $6 (round trip) at the booth by the public washrooms. It will take you all...More

I cannot believe they do not funnel exhaust upward so passengers do not have to endure the fumes. Down right nauseating and unhealthy! Sometimes you do not have any other option for seats. Then you also smell like it. It was bad for us, I...More

The tram employees do not give you all options. We paid the 3.00 per person more than halfway to the south end thinking we could ride back also. We had to pay another 3.00 to go back to where we got on. Employees are very...More

There are wider seats at the front of the tram and a lot of the seats are wide. Most limited mobility people are able to ride it. If there is a problem getting up to the tram, the tram driver or the attendant who sits in... More
