This new Park offers: 163+ acres on the Patuxent River, open weekends through October 1st, approximately 1,500 feet of pebble/sandy beach, $5.00 for County residents (you will be asked to show proof) and $10.00 for out of County residents, no lifeguards on duty, swimming/wading at your own risk, kayak launching at Roslin Creek, picnicking, hiking and bird watching, Port-O-Potties currently available. Potential future amenities include: boat launch, Pavilion, playground, athletic fields, trails and restrooms. Nice new Park to take the family to. I noticed plenty of Port-O-Potties, hope they put in a permanent restroom facility soon. Wide beach area! Plenty of picnic tables - some sheltered.
