Things have really gone downhill for such a fun place. Our first time (few years ago) was great. We met the owner our first time and his enthusiasm and care for the customer was apparent. Today it appears that whoever is running the place now, gave up. They were many games that weren’t working, some that were blurry, and when we went to the snack bar they gave us warm drinks and expired food. My sons bottled ice tea expired 11 months ago.
The young ladies that are working seem kind of clueless on customer service.
Such a shame since his place has so much potential.

This place was ok. At least 6 games not working. Older games and a fair number of duplicate games. Staff not very friendly. Pictures make the place appear nicer than it is. Was ok to go to once, but probably won’t repeat.

We are locals but moved to Morgantown WV and came back in town to visit my dad and brother who is 16. After eating my spouse and I took my brother and my daughter who is 18 months to the arcade to waste some time till my dad got off work. We have been to the other arcades and it was raining so figured we would give this one a try. Walking in from the car to the desk and getting checked in to play the games I put my daughter on the floor to walk around a moment just being in the car over an hour and then sitting in a restaurant to eat another hour. So as most kids would be she was restless and was ready to walk around. She walked from me to the door and was tapping the door she was maybe five feet from me but was still around my spouse and brother. After getting checked in the girl at the desk said “ Your going to have to keep ahold of her.” Or I can’t remember her exact words but it was her telling me to keep ahold of my child. Which we came to the arcade to be able to let her down and blow off some steam. Not that I would ever let my toddler roam free or be distructive or disruptive to others. Anyway so I held my daughter in my arms the entire hour we played games while she was fussing wanting down to walk around. So the first impression put me in a bad mood and made me feel unwanted and then I couldn’t enjoy the rest of my time there because I was trying to contain my one year old in my arms and got disciplined five seconds after walking in the door. Just figured for a kid friendly option it wasn’t very kid friendly. Maybe you should put up a sign no kids under 12. I have worked in the hospitality and customer service field for a long time and no one needs to be confronted on a child unless he/she are being disruptive or distructive to the property or others.

Hi Lacey, Sorry you had a bad experience and you are right, we are not for 18 month olds unfortunately. We are good from 5-95 I like to say. I wasn't there but I support my staff preemptively requesting that a parent keep hold of a toddler. This comes from past experiences where toddlers are left to their own whims and hang off of gun cords or climb over games for something to do. I did my best to create a 5 star facility where I keep it spotless, wide open and well lit, tons of different games and make it affordable by paying for time rather than per game. I allow parents to play FREE with children under 16 and I allow B.Y.O.B. If you feel this is a 1 star establishment, I thank you for giving us a try and wish you the best.

Fun Unlimited would have been more fun if the staff were allowed to be friendly and more customer oriented. They watched us like hawks when half of our party went to play with the kids and the other half went into the cafe for food. It is very clean and the kids had a good time but expensive. They really made us feel unwelcome and like our four kids were a bother. I wouldn't return based on the atmosphere presented by staff and the manager.

Thank you Jacy for your review. We do our best to make all customers feel welcome, I apologize if you did not feel that way. We do our best to keep the property spotless and keep it affordable by allowing parents to play free with children under 16. We are the least costly arcade at the lake and provide a unique atmosphere where you can play 101 games without worrying about buyers remorse on putting your money in a game you may not like. You get to try everything for less than you would pay at the other arcades which have 20-25 games.

This place is incredible. There are 100 different arcade games to keep you and the kids entertained. The prices are very reasonable, the whole place is spotless, and the staff members are so nice!

The owner is very personable and has a great sense of humor. It always makes things so much better when the staff and management enjoy what they do, like they do here. We have no complaints.

We will definitely come back again!

This place is newly opened, but it is amazing. They have 30+ nostalgic and 60+ newer games. I loved the older games. It was so fun to see the games from decades before. They have a great concept too. You pay by the hour, and the games are unlimited (they call it "free play"). My husband and I had a great time for around $30. Considering I spend $30 to take 2 of my nephews to Chuck E Cheese for like 30 - 45 minutes I didn't think this was a bad gig. Great news parents, there are no tickets to bother with. This was honestly my favorite part of our 3 days visit to Deep Creek Maryland.

We decided to check this out during a cooler day at the lake. We had 6 kids and 6 adults. I think the adults had more fun than the kids. It was nice that you could just play whatever you wanted for a flat fee. Also did the mini golf which was included.

This was our second year visiting this amazing game room/arcade/museum. It is the absolute best value in town and there are hundreds of opportunities to relive your 80s childhood and even earlier in the adults only Museum. No card reloading! Just pay, walk in and play unlimited! The owner is a top notch guy, even asking us while we were in the arcade if we needed anything. He has additional staff this year who are also very attentive and friendly. My son and I got the all day pass for $35. It was a rainy day so we played a total of 8 hrs for the day. Insane! The owner understands the value of the parents playing too. One parent plays free per youth at full price! Please visit while you’re at Deep Creek! I want this place to be here next year and many more years. I could go on for days. Thank You for letting this 47 year old and his 13 year old son enjoy our childhoods even if mine was in my mind.

This place is awesome had a great time playing all the games. The owner is so hands on and extremely nice. The best part was the older games from my childhood really took me back in time. Free play is a great ideal you can try games and not feel like you wasted $ on a game you didn't like. No quarters to worry about just walk up push a button and let the fun begin. So do yourself a favor and check this place out you won't be disappointed!! JUST DO IT!!!
