Went with friends on a rainy day that interrupted our kayaking plans. Having recently moved to southern MD, it was interesting to hear about how the naval base and the are evolved. They did have great displays including planes, including a computer I wrote code...More

Thanks for coming to visit!

Had a group of two families with small children go here. The inside of the museum is open and accommodating with things you don’t get to see many places. The outside ramp has a lot of aircraft in a small space. Definitely worth the trip

We love hosting families at the Pax Museum. Come back and see us again sometime!

A must see for any aviation buff. Would be nice if there were some examples of WW II naval aircraft, but seeing the "modern" jets that were used as testing platforms was really something. A very enjoyable way to spend the afternoon

Wonderful site with great examples of Naval Aviation. Some interactive activity, great tour with knowledgeable guides. I would take any visitors there when in the area.

Took our almost-84-year-old Poppa back to the NAS where he served in the early 1950's. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the good folks who helped us navigate the museum. Great gift shop. Thank you, guys!

My wife and I took our three year old to see this museum. He was all over the place bouncing from display to display. The museum it's self is rather small, but has a rather impressive collection of static displays. They also have some simulators....More

Although she is three years, she thoroughly enjoyed herself. The static displays were her favorite. We happened to visit when the local fire/EMS/PD had displays up and she got to sit in fire trucks as well. A GREAT morning spent educating my granddaughter.

Here with young kids, nice open layout but exhibits were very well labeled. When you realize how many astronauts worked at NAS Pax River, you get a real sense of how important the place is. The F14 flight simulator is just a computer screen but...More
