What a wonderful day adventure. A combination of stunning countryside, exciting rafting and loads of laughs for parents and older children. Our guide Moose was incredible as he expertly guided us through the rapids whilst bringing the history of the river to life through some entertaining stories. We even had time to swim. A real must for all those adventure... More

The directions we received told us to arrive 30 minutes before our departure time of 10:45, which we did. Simply put: There was no one in charge at the check-in site. There was no one marshalling people or organizing the large number of people who where there for the trip. We were all standing around with no information being passed.... More

Was hurried and rushed to sign waiver, was told they would read it in the bus but that did not happen. The result is getting stuck in rock formations. Primitive circumstances, dressing room was a picnic table with mold and mildew covered canvas that had holes in it, no sign for men or woman to separate them. Bathroom was a... More

So.... Where to begin?? We had the pleasure of our first white water rafting experience with Justin (the Virginian who wears shoes and has all his teeth) as well as Oli (mustache guy) and Moose (the guy who "loves" Katy Perry). From the ever so corny jokes to the bus ride back to base it was an amazing time. We... More

Overall, a great trip. I am proud and happy that we did it-- and very happy that no one got hurt. 3 out of 5 of us flipped off of our tubes going down rapids. There were not many rapids, and I wouldn't call them big, but it is hard to control where you are going and it is scary... More

River and Trail did a great job with our river rafting trip. We did their Shenandoah and Potomac River trip. The guides were nice and welcoming, and each boat had their own guide which proved to be very useful and educational. Our guide Will had great knowledge of the local history and was great at helping us raft as well.... More

Our party of four did the Shenandoah/Potomac river rafting trip. This is a great trip for beginners. We had one person in our group who had never been white water rafting, so this was perfect! The guides were fabulous. Every raft has it's own guide. (We've been on other rafting trips where the guides ride down along side you in... More

This is definitely a beginners trip just to see if we liked it. Our guide Justin K was great. He was very knowledgable about the area and its history. We stopped half way down river and had lunch of fried chicken, potato salad, watermelon and water/fruit punch. There were seven boats all together and we were on the last boat... More

We did the Shenandoah Valley and Potomac River rafting trip. This trip is great for beginners. We went during the Fourth of July weekend. It was sunny and the water was the perfect temperature. The first part of the rafting trip was pretty slow - we were just floating. There was 1 really fun Class III drop, but the rest... More
