Beautiful Farm, Lovely People, Award-Winning Wines, Delicious Food, Warm & Friendly B&B
This was our first time at Crow Farm, Vineyard, and Winery. The setting was spectacular, the wine was award winning LITERALLY, the staff were friendly and hard-working. Most of all though, Roy and Judy Crow were two of the most kind and hospitable hosts we have ever met. We wholeheartedly recommend a special weekend or even just a vineyard stop here. You will not be disappointed.

Staying right between the beautiful vineyard and the awesome heard of cattle created a real feeling of being "away". Fresh air, sunshine and oh the stars. All that falls second to the wines and the people. Award winning and delicious makes it hard to choose a favorite (Vidal Blanc) . Talking with the wine maker and the owner was great, but we cannot say enough about Nancy! Thank you so much for the good care you took of us and all the fun!.

Well worth the drive - beautiful farm, friendly people and great wine!
We have been on a bit of a quest to visit all the eastern shore wineries and this was our first time visiting the Crow Vineyard and Winery. We decided to check it out while visiting Kent County MD on a lovely Sunday afternoon as an overdue birthday celebration for my husband. Although we still have about 3 more wineries to go, I feel like we have found the favorite at Crow! The three of us each had different wines - red, white and rose - based on our personal preferences - and all were very good. We enjoyed the nice atmosphere and even chatted with the owner, Judy, who kindly shared her story about the history of the farm, the winery and their farmstead BnB. All I can say is that it was a very enjoyable experience. We enjoyed a delicious charcuterie plate and took home a bottle as well. Our daughter hopes to go back for harvesting and grape stomping fun in the future!

I visited this vineyard while passing through the area with my husband. We travel up and down the east coast visiting wineries and B&B's, so while staying at another B&B in the area we thought to stop in. We both decided on a flight, and I believe the woman waiting on us was new because she didn't explain any of the wines to us, and she had to consult someone else when we asked a question.
We noticed that the other woman she was working with went around to every table (except ours), explaining the wine flight options to other couples. I also noticed (and I notice everything) that the other tables were offered fruit & cheese snack plates, but we had to purchase a $20 charcuterie board that honestly was not worth the $. For $20, we received some grapes, about 3 slices of cheese, one piece of cut-up beef, carrot slices, and olives. It was the saddest looking board I had ever seen. (And I've been to many wineries)
We left the establishment dissatisfied and underwhelmed, which is the reason we will not be returning.

Felt like we were treated second class because we used groupon, cheese, sausage and grapes came in a plastic container that would be used for Chinese food take out marked groupon tray, Crackers came in plactic wrap from manufacture. We also observed other guess that received a cheese and susage plater on real serving platter. different menu marked groupon only, Owner that gave us the tour was very nice but the staff was very distance, Tasting was only 1 shot that was dispensed from the bottle. The other store in Queenstown maryland was alot better when groupon was used. Dont waste your time if booking thru groupon very dissappointed

Dropped by for a small tasting and it did not disappoint. The tasting building is very nice and the service was great. We partook in a flight of white wine and flight of sparking/dessert wines. Enjoyed them all. The transition of the farm to this is fascinating. You get to be so close to the vineyard. Nice that a good number of their wines are made from their own grapes. More than we expected.

Thank you for taking time to visit us, and for writing a review. We are so proud of our family farm and the quality of our wine, grass fed Angus beef, and our farmstay BB. Hope you will be back again soon.

Let's start with the positive.... The tasting room is charming- it's in an old milk house. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful as well. The people working in the tasting room were very nice and friendly.

The wines were okay- I couldn't really give a good assessment of the wines because the tastings were literally a drop in the bottom of our glasses. We did enjoy the dessert wine.

Now, the ugly... we have grown increasingly and quickly sick and tired of paying for tastings that are chintzy. The pours we received weren't even a 1/2 oz. which is even too small. It's petty and cheap, and we are finding too many of the local wineries are doing this. Here's feedback I gave another winery: This next piece of feedback applies to all the area wineries (NJ, PA, MD, and DE) that do this- STOP charging for tastings if you are only going to give a 1/2 oz pour or less and/or not give away the glass. And, if your patrons buy a bottle, waive the darn fee!!!

Thank you for your kind remarks. We work very hard to make sure that our wines are stellar and that our family farm is attractive and appealing to the travelers. We offer pour size based on the recommendation of the Maryland Wineries Association. I hear your suggestion to waive the tasting cost if a patron purchases wine. I will consider that in the future. Hope you will stop back again. Cheers, Judy Crow/owner and Vice President of the Maryland Wineries Association.

What a great start to a new adventure: visiting the vineyards of Maryland. Crow Farm - originally known for its grass-fed beef which can be purchased at the wine-tasting room - planted the vines with the intent of selling the grapes. The grapes were so good the family is now producing their own wine. Doug was our wonderful 'pilot' for our wine flights. The Rose is refreshingly light yet with body, the Vidal Blanc was just yummy, the reds are distinct and though I'm not a Chardonnay drinker, Crow's is properly oaked. Kennedyville is about 30 minutes from Chestertown which is a great little town for shopping and dining. The Crow Farm is also a B and B. Along with the wine I purchased one of the beef packs. And oh boy!! is that beef ever SUPERB!!

We stopped in one afternoon for a wine tasting and were impressed with the amount of wines available, the quality of the wines we tasted, and the impeccable service. During the tasting, we spoke with the owner and she showed us around a bit since they weren't busy.

We decided to host a gathering with friends from out of town and Judy was phenomenal to work with - handling all the logistics, and providing fantastic food. All of our guests had a fantastic time and really enjoyed learning about a working winery and farm. We will definitely go back again, both to purchase more wines and to hold other family/friend gatherings.

Really enjoyed visiting Crow’s vineyard. This is a very pleasant farm north of Chestertown, Maryland. In the last ten years Crow has grown to be a first class operation. The staff is professional and very friendly from the front desk to the heart of the wine making process. The wine selection is remarkable and varied. Most of all is the quality of the product. I was reminded of a good Vouvray while tasting some of the excellent white. You will not regret a visit to Crow. Ask for Judy, she will make your visit most enjoyable
