Park in the Marina parking lot and take follow the lane at the end to the boardwalk over the water. Many of the museums and the lighthouse are just off the promenade. The views from the board walk are really very nice, the river is...More

We moved to Maryland in June, and we’ve been to the Promenade a few times. We always have a nice time. It’s a pretty spot to stroll along the Boardwalk by the water. Today I discovered that the water fountains have ground-level faucets for dogs,...More

If you are in Havre de Grace you have to take the promenade. It has historical/natural plaques along the way that are intersting. Worth the trip!

Havre de Grace is a hidden gem along the I95 corridor!! The promenade view at the end of the town is stunningly beautiful and almost perfect, except for the fact that no pets are permitted on the boardwalk. Be sure to take lots of photos,...More

I usually take time to go for a walk on the Promenade for the exercise and for the natural scenery. The people who are there are always friendly and exchange greetings.

We loved our stroll along the boardwalk on this sunny fall day. Enjoyed reading the informative signage about shore wildlife. Stopped in at the gift shop in the Decoy Museum. Too bad we didn’t have time to visit. One other museum along the path, too....More

It is a nice stroll on the waterfront. The night we went it was very buggy. It was also under construction at one end. If it wasn't so buggy it would have been a beautiful night for a walk.

Yes, there are multiple docks which you are able to fish off of. One within the parking lot area of the promenade, off of the boardwalk, as well as a bit off the boardwalk.

No shopping on the promenade. Just boardwalk along the Susquehanna river. Shopping in town, you can walk to it.
