No matter the weather, just bundle up and enjoy a beautiful scenery and great stroll on the Promenade. Wonderful place to visit. And add in some time, if your visiting HDG, to go to the local shops, or dine.

Really pretty walk along the water and by the lighthouse. All sorts of docks and piers to walk out on and to sit and watch the water. It was a buzz of activity with families, so not the most peaceful quiet place, but still nice, and definatly a good place to bring kids.

I love the look of this town just into Maryland and abridging Amtrak train tracks. Especially at sunrise and sunset it is a thing of beauty with all the town houses next to the water and flotillas of boats out in good weather. A nice getaway from the city life.

I went here just before sunset after a day of business at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Glad I did. Scenic and very tranquil. Recommend snagging an ice cream cone at the marina then going for a short walk.

This is a wonderful place to stroll on a boardwalk along the water where you can watch waterfowl and boats on the bay. And there's a restaurant at the marina where you can get light meals.

A lovely walk at the water's edge where you can watch boats leaving the marina, observe various birds, ducks, geese, and even a beaver; read the many markers that share a bit of history and science or simply just sit a spell. It is located near the museum and lighthouse and not very far from the pier. A nice stop... More

My wife and I decided to take a day trip and we stopped for dinner at the Tidewater Cafe in Havre de Grace then walk off dinner on the Promenade. There are some spectacular views of the upper Chesapeake Bay and the mouth of the Susquehanna river onto the flats. This walk has several piers and many opportunities to view... More

Walking trail full of interesting history. Beautiful water view where the Susquehana meets the Bay. Pack a picnic lunch, or get food and ice cream at the quaint food stand. Tour the lighthouse. Just a wondeful place to spend some time.
