A nice stadium with an old time baseball look and feel. Home of the Washington Nationa'sl affiliate Hagerstown Suns (Class A). Manual scoreboard - a guy hangs up the numbers. Baseball food. Clean restrooms (at the beginning). Ample seating right behind home plate, under the roof, even when large groups are attending. Pretty professional major-league class game being played.

Minor league baseball in a stadium that has lots of character. Love every minute of it. Check out the promotions for good deals and fun.

I went to Hagerstown Suns Municipal Stadium last July to see a game between the Hagerstown Suns and the Charleston River Dogs. The day that I went, the temperature was over 100 degrees. Normally, hot weather doesn't bother me, but during the game, the PA announcer and the on field host kept talking about how hot it was! When people... More

This is a small town stadium were you can actually afford to see a baseball game without being broke at the end of the night. There are no bad seats since it is a small place and the game is just as exciting as MLB.

This is a typical minor league ball field. Occasionally get some bigger name players which attract a crowd. They put on some great fireworks. Typical higher price ballpark food. They are good with hosting different events at the field.

We visited during camp day. It was well organized entertainment. The River Dogs won over the Suns 10 to 2. Everyone had a wonderful time even though we were all melting.

The team is loaded with heart, players moving up to the next level, and yummy food in a friendly atmosphere. It was a Friday night home game with fireworks and as the gates opened, Sprint funded the audience and made it a free game admission for everyone with capes, bags, and three-d glasses for the fireworks. It was a big... More

THIS stadium and antics are about as hokey as they come. Spent quite some time in Frederick area and watched Key's stadium get better and better- clean, good food, not a bad seat in the house- and prices are comparable if not better than Sun's Stadium. Fireworks after certain shows are much better and variable in Fred. as well. A... More

If you want a modern stadium with bells and whistles - this is not the place for you But if you like old, cozy historical ballparks check out this place. Very intimate so you are almost right on top of the field so feel like part of the game. Concessions are ok - best yo hit the grill - prices... More

First off,I go to games up and down the East Coast and go other places on vacation. So,I like to think I'm knowledgeable on the baseball experience, but my hometown consistently posts erratic ratings. Let's start with the good things-Municipal Stadium is truly a throwback to a different time in the game.Old time ballparks with all the quirks of those old... More
