Went there for the toddler nutcracker. It wasn't much of the real nutcracker story - the music with various puppets coming out. My son was interested the whole time (30 minutes). Everyone has to sit on the floor so be prepared for your legs to go numb by the time it is done. They do have seats along the perimeter... More

We saw the Nutcracker on the first day of the season this year. It was well done, entertaining and the theatre was cozy and comfortable with plenty of floor space for the kids. The puppeteers came out after the show and answered questions. I was happy to find something like this happening and the location is really nice, an indoor... More

I had family in town with young children (8 & 5) and the weather that day was a typical DC July: hot and humid. The Puppet Company Playhouse came to my attention from the Cultural Montgomery website and we attended a 40 minute performance of Snow White. The kids loved the actors and puppets working in tandem. The location at... More

True old fashioned puppet theater where guests are treated at the door by the ushers in costumes. Relaxing atmosphere, kids are invited to seat near the stage. We just saw "the nutcracker" and I highly recommend it. Amazing adaptation of the beloved Christmas story.

Nice children's puppet shows. Kids can sit on floor w/parents or parents can sit back on circular bench along wall.

I've seen 2 performances at the Puppet Co. and loved them both. The Three Little Pigs was told from the wolf's point of view!

We saw "The 3 Little Pigs" and it was a unique twist on an old favorite. Even though the theater had an advisory for children younger than 3 1/2, my 2 1/2 year old was fine with the slightly-scary moments (she sat on my lap). I would advise getting there early to get a seat up-close, as it's first-come, first-served.... More

We love taking our young grandchildren to the productions. They are always delightful and the bonus is that children can talk to them after the show.

We sat on the back bench; however, they allowed people to come in 15 minutes late for only a 30 minute show. People were walking and talking in front of us the first 15 minutes making it difficult to see and hear. People, including the usher, were talking aloud making it difficult, again, to hear. The music playing was so... More
