Wow! Spent the entire day at Glen Echo as part of a Montgomery County Leadership group, and we were super impressed with how much the County has done to restore and revive Glen Echo since the County took over the Park's management. The Spanish Ballroom...More

This historic ballroom has a magnificent dancing floor which was installed during the big-band era and remains in excellent condition...rather perfect...for dancing. Outstanding dancing venue. The tuxedo-clad orchestra is elevated on stage at one end of the rectangular ballroom allowing dancers to visually enjoy the...More

Glen Echo Park is an amazing find for a wedding. We recently attended the wedding of one of the children of our closest friends. The bride and groom both live in the nearby DC suburbs and somehow came upon this place for their wedding. It...More

Went for the puppet show, but found out it also has a small aquarium, games for kids, and a lovely carrousel. It also gives up a very unique vibe. It has small huts with artesanal activities and a coffee place. Lovely place overall, great for...More

Mostly I come here for the weekly (Saturday evening) swing dances in the Spanish Ballroom. It's beautiful, with a great floor, good acoustics, and lots of free parking not far away. The carousel would be worthy of national landmark status all by itself if the...More

Old restored carousel is a highlight. Also a children’s theater and art lessons. Yellow Barn building hosts the art lessons with three other art galleries.

Lots of history, fun things to do and artisans. Really family-friendly. Catch one of the events and bring the whole family. Don't forget the carousel! Bring your camera and a picnic lunch to eat in the park.

Carousel is really special. Playground is small but perfect for kids after a show at Adventure Thestre. Small snack shop -- wish it had more variety. Wouldn't go here without a theatre performance tied in. Clemyjontri park is better and also has a carousel.

It's cheap and supports the park overall so no biggy, but honestly this place doesn't offer enough to charge for admission. I'd skip it if you are on a budget. Just a few animals and not much interaction which is what little kids crave.
