They ripped us off
Sep 2020 • Family
My wife and I came here a couple weeks ago. When we were done, we explained to out flight instructor that we wanted to get passes to bring each of our kids over the next few months. The instructor told us to buy a pass. We did. We booked for my daughter and came back with her. They informed us we had bought a pass that could only be used one time. We paid for 10 flights and got 3. They riipped us off. The General Manager Heidi said there was nothing she could do. They have a pass for 5 flights that does exactly what we needed. She could have reimbursed the purchase and then allowed us to buy that one. She could have let my daughter fly this time and given us 4 vouchers for our other children. She could have let my daughter fly and told us to just bring all of the other next time and cancelled the voucher on this one. There is a difference between a business and a business leader who thinks to solve issues and a business and leader that just says "there is nothing we can do" when they mess up. Heide and ifly Montgomery is the latter not the former.

I am sorry to hear about this experience. So I can understand exactly what happened, can you please email me the details of your first flights? I would need your name and the date and time you flew with the original Viator booking. You can email me directly at tdeming@iflyworld.com, and I will get back in touch after I understand the details. Thank you, Travis

Fun!!!!

I had always wanted to sky dive.... The virtual reality option made it even more like it. Overall though, this was really fun. More physically engaged than expected, but 3 cute little, little boys also were in our class, so hey, we were fine. Super-nice instructors, really, really safe, souvenir photos in our package - definitely recommend this experience.

A fantastic experience, even more fun than I expected. I already purchased more flights!
Nov 2019
Two of my friends and I purchased Groupons for two 1-minute flights at iFLY a month or two ago and finally got around to using it. Check-in was a breeze and we spent a while watching other flyers. Joe, our flight instructor, was very enthusiastic which was catching. After getting us geared up he gave us all the first-timers instructions and the golden rule - RELAX! Joe was great with everyone in the tunnel and had most of us turning and going forward and back in just our two minutes of flight. It was definitely more fun than I expected, and all three of us purchased vouchers for more flights because we are definitely coming back (to fly with Joe).

Some questions that I had before doing this:
1. Is it loud? Yes, but not uncomfortably so. They give you earplugs to use and I was very comfortable with those in.

2. How do they tell you what to do? Hand signals!

3. It is scary? No. I was mildly apprehensive before I went in, but you completely forget about that once you are inside.

4. Can friends/family come and watch? YES! And have them take pictures. Joe made sure to aim the flyers at the cameras for good pictures. (you can also buy their pictures and videos of your flights).

5. It's expensive, is it worth it? Yes, at least for two flights. One flight to get comfortable, and the second flight to get hooked!

Great Fun!

So, I have to start off by saying I hated this activity! I'm 50+, overweight, and out of shape and felt like a cheap umbrella in a wind storm.... BUT... if you are young and in shape, it's a blast! The staff is very friendly and professional, the facilities were clean and well cared for and I so enjoyed watching Lydia show us her stuff! Even though this "wasnt for me" I still highly recommend it!

Three seconds for $90 & a crying tween
Jun 2019 • Family
I took my 12 year old son and his friend to iFly in an attempt to research for his birthday party. when we arrived, they upsold me on an add-on for a 15' experience with the instructor. My son went second in the wind tunnel and immediately flinched in pain. He asked to be taken out and was sobbing. He sat with me while his friend had their turn. NO STAFF MEMBERS CAME TO CHECK ON HIM. Inside the tunnel, his friend was asked if he wanted to take my son's extra turns. NO STAFF MEMBERS ASKED ME IF THIS WAS OK and no staff members offered to try to help my son try again. I guess iFly figures that the waiver was signed and anything that happens after that is too bad for the customer.

Great fun - short lived though

We had a 4pm reservation on President's Day - turned out to be a popular flight time. There was a party of Tweens that were also flying that day so it was kind of loud and hectic when we checked in. The flight suit that goes over your clothes was comfy, the helmet and the glasses they give you were also well fitted. You sit through instructions and then wait your turn. All in all, you spend about 5 minutes for 2 flights the other 55 minutes is spent getting dressed and undressed, attending the tutorial. Wishing the flights were longer but there are so many other people waiting!

Really enjoyed our Valentine ifly experience! Very friendly staff made it very easy to sign waivers and get signed in. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and definitely want to go back! Loved watching the group of young kids before us. Their staff was absolutely tremendous with them, highly encouraging and enthusiastic! I'm extremely impressed! More fun than jumping from a plane!
Feb 2019 • Family
We got some gift cards for Xmas and did a 10 flight family outing this last Saturday. It was me 46, my gf, and the kid (boy, 14).

From signing in to getting geared up, the staff were friendly, polite, and professional. All the gear you need is supplied. Then, we watched a short into video before our instructor came in a reviewed the information with us. Nothing was rushed and we had ample time to ask questions.

Out instructor also checked in with each group to double check what package we had and how we wanted to proceed.

Then it was time to fly! We lined up, entered the wind tube, and everyone had the chance to watch as we each had our turns flying.

I might have been the only person who had skydived before, and I gotta say that this was much more fun! Less gear, less waiting, more flying, no worries about landing, and no weather delays. Our instructor (sorry, I forgot the name, but he looked like Ricky Whittle) was right there guiding us and giving feedback, making sure everyone both had fun and learned safe techniques.

After we all had our go, the instructor was given a minute to show off what a lot of practice can achieve! Very cool!

The youngest in the group looked like she was 4.

They ask several times about shoulder and neck issues. My shoulders were a touch sore after our flights, but were fine 2-3 minutes later, just keep that in mind if you have a history of shoulder issues.

I don’t think I’ll make this my new hobby, but I definitely want to fly again!

An awesome Experience!
Jan 2019 • Friends
My friend and I went on a Wednesday and it wasn’t busy, they were able to fit us in without a reservation. It was our first time going and everyone was so lay back and friendly. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back again! I do recommend doing the add on for $10 especially if it’s your first time trying it because the add on is really what you imagine it’s going to be like
