We went on a bike ride around the lake, which was gorgeous. Took us about an hour and a half. Near the damn it gets pretty rocky.

This is a very pretty state park, and they have a casino! When we were there, several storms came through and made for some nice photo ops.

We just came back home from spending a week at the campground in the Ash loop. The campground is beautiful, the sites are well spaced out and very well maintained. We had a nice path behind our site to to modern restroom that was remodeled. There is a 5 or 6 mile trail around the lake that we walked one... More

Quite large complex with beach. Clean and orderly. No mosquitos so far first night. Wood for sale at camp entrance not so good.

This is a great state park. The main area has clean bathrooms and showers. There are camping grounds and hiking paths as well. A hike around the entire lake is about 5 miles but offers great views!

We stayed on sites 219 through 222 in the Hickory Loop of the campground. It was close enough to the bathroom yet quiet, with little traffic. The scenery is beautiful and the shade is fantastic on a hot day. The family, ranging from ages 7-70 had a great time. The beach area is clean with lifeguards and a playground nearby.... More

Its our first time camping with family and friends. We rented three cabins. I must say that I was very impressed with the place. It was very clean and quiet. The lights out at 10pm was really observed. The bathrooms and showers are really clean. The cabins are spacious and clean. The kids enjoyed the beach. I would really recommend... More

Great for day visits. Lake Habeeb is 243 acres which has a great beach and clear water swimming. Paddle boards and other recreational equipment is rent at the Hotel / Casino next door. Very clean area.

We started coming to Rocky Gap to camp when our kids outgrew Yogi Bear Campground. Love the trails, love the lake and the hiking, love the fishing.. The nature and true woodsy feel is so relaxing. Temps are great even in the summer. No noise complaints, sites are decent sized. Showers are clean. Been here several times and will return!

The park had a great 5 mile trail. The trail was well maintained and well marked. We only lost the trail once while it passed through an outdoor theater, but other than that it was flawless. There were also lots of different spur trails off the main trail to keep multiple trips interesting.
