The Avalon is a nice historic theater venue that puts on lots of great concerts every year. The highlight of the year is the Monty Alexander Jazz Festival around Labor Day. This is one of my favorite small music venues.

This is a terrific venue for music - great selection of artists in both the Theatre and the Stoltz Listening Room. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Wish it was closer to us but we make the 45 minute trip regularly for good music!

I am a "local". An old movie theater, restored in an art deco style some years ago, now presents both well known and lesser known talent regularly. The schedule is online. . There is a smaller venue upstairs, the Stoltz "Listening Room:" for more intimate...More
