This lake is located next to many different neighborhoods in Columbia--a trail around the lake is an easy nearly 2 mile walk. Few hills, paved with occasional benches to sit and enjoy the view

Such a gem in Columbia! We love living near Lake Elkhorn having access to the running/walking trails. It's just so pretty and clean.

Even though there are always people on the trail, it’s never crowded and it’s a really peaceful walk around the lake and through the woods. It’s an easy 2 miles, all paved, and mostly flat. Definitely give this a visit. The only downside is that...More

Half of bike path closed for repaving. This is normally a very pretty spot with blue heron, fish, an occasional beaver sighting. Other parts of the area closed for day camp archery.

The park is great for a jog but beware of the skateboarders, I was almost ran over once. The waterfall area is really nice but be careful, there are alot of deer in the area and the park has been known for break-ins.

Only at the Pavilion, which is available for rent May - October. However, I'm not sure if it's open when it's not being rented. The McDonalds is the closest.
