The Lighthouse is beautifully designed. It is rich in history regarding Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad. The view of the river is an added bonus.

This recreated lighthouse makes for an interesting stop and some beautiful views. The volunteer staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and eager to share information about the area. Historic information and exhibits are great.

A nice little side trip. Went up for a look of the bay. The lighthouse is interesting design. Worth visit if you are near by.

This replica lighthouse is relatively new, being completed in 2012. The views from the lighthouse are terrific. It is essentially a Museum, and a good one at that. There is actually a Maryland license plate featuring the Choptank River Lighthouse on it. And, you can...More

We have seen similar structures in the past so we were looking forward to seeing the Choptank one. The one cool thing we were able to see was a small boat in the lift.

we visited this light during our stay in cambridge. the signage to the light is very good and there is adequate parking there for a visit. I believe the light is actually a replica from a nearby lost light.
