Fun beer farm for family and friends located right between Clarksville and Olney. They feature large outdoor picnic seating area, shaded seating right by the cash registers and limited seating inside with heaters/fans as well. Brookeville Beer farm features a bunch of quality IPAs and food. Stopped by recently with some friends and we ordered the margherita with a kick, arugula & prosciutto, and the three little pigs pizzas. The arugula one was our favorite as the greens were fresh and the prosciutto was delicious. Drink wise we ordered the yellow finch, hayfever, and the independence. The yellow finch is a top seller and we ordered at least 5 of them.

I've been here a couple of times and this beer farm has always been consistent with food, drinks and service. Unfortunately, directly inside there is no seating so hiding from the summer heat and sun may be difficult. The staff is really knowledgable of the drinks and which one fits your flavor profile. The have plenty of parking on their lot, but if it looks packed you can also find side street parking. Great place to bring kids as they have activities all of the place for them. The entire staff was wearing gloves and masks. If you want quality beers and great pizzas this is your spot.

The Good:

The pizza was great! I had the veggie lover pizza and the spicy bee pizza. The veggie lover pizza was perfect, while the spicy bee pizza was both unique tasting and delicious. I enjoyed the music and the family atmosphere. I also had the bay light beer, which was good tasting. The premises was clean and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. There was a positive vibe. The employees were also polite, and I thought they did well, especially with how busy it was.

The Bad:

I think this place needs more restrooms, especially when the place was as packed as it was.

Judgment:

Great place atmosphere! Great pizza!
I definitely recommend!

The Brookeville Beer Farm is an attractive property with good pizza, great beer and a nice relaxing atmosphere. They have a nice walkway entrance and landscaping through out the grounds with a multitude of seating options while being very family friendly. The 5 of us had a table by a small pond with large boulders and a little waterfall. We started with the $12 flight of Happenchance, Yellow Finch, McDonnell's Irish Stoudt and a Peach Lime Witbier. My wife stayed with the Happenchance, which is a little bit like a Blue Moon, while I loved the Yellow Finch, a English Summer Ale. The Peach Lime Witbier had a unique taste and the Irish Stoudt was smooth with a chocolate malt taste. They have a menu of about 10 thin crust pizza offerings that were good, but ours had a little more cheese than I normally like, but that was easily remedied. They also have a few small snacks and some cheese.
You order and pay from your table, but they do have walk up areas also. Hopefully soon the inside area will be open again and all of the staff we dealt with were excellent. My wife and I look forward to a 2nd visit in the near future.

We visited on Saturday, January 29, 2022. We have visited many times and always enjoy their delicious beers. But today, the visit was not so good. We ordered a Hawaiian Pineapple pizza (we have heard their pizzas are delicious) and it was definitely not good. We think it was undercooked .... crust was very doughy, cheese was barely cooked, pancetta was not cooked, and the green peppers were not cooked and there were way too many of them thrown all over. We tasted 2 flights and then my husband got three singles and six pack from the 'to go' cooler. When we went to pay for them before departing, the cashier woman told us we could only purchase the six pack. That made no sense to us. Why put the singles in the cooler if you are not going to sell them? Really disappointing. We will not be in a rush to go back.

We drove by on Saturday to check it out after reading about their Covid practices on their website. We were pleasantly surprised. Tables were outside and spaced much further than 6ft apart. You order your beer and pizza from your table and it's brought out by a masked employee. Nothing to sign, etc. Pretty much contactless. The pizza and beer were both great. We'll definitely be back. Can't wait to see the inside once Covid is behind us.

However, I’m not sure you can find better. I added fresh spinach, fresh mushrooms, and shaved Parmesan to my three pigs, and this was the finest pizza I’ve had. And I’m older than most mountains. And have eaten a lot of pizza. This is thin crust. The chili flakes gave the sauce a nice little kick. Everything was perfectly proportioned. And the beer was good. And there is a nice area outside to sit. And everyone was masked, and the service was great. If only it wasn’t a six hour commute!

We visited on a Sunday with 3 generations of family members. Good beer. Tasty pizza. Lots of space for the little one to run around without bothering other groups. Lots of space between the picnic tables. Beautiful setting

The Brookeville Beer Farm offers many tasty, tasty brews. The place has a casual, laid back atmosphere. The food on the BBF menu was definitely better than the rotating food truck option that was there on the day I went.

Very sad experience at the Brookeville Beer farm. Server never got our food order in after 50 minutes of waiting. We cancelled the food order due to the poor service. Server was supposed to remove food from the bill. Checked our VISA statement and, low and behold, we were charged for the food order that was never deliver AND twice for one flight of beers. Called the manager and expressed our concerns about the hassle and inappropriate charges. All we got was a mere "sorry" for the ensuing inconvenience with no offer to correct the issue. This is "should avoid" venue. It's not worth the cycles of inconvenience.

My husband and I visited this past Saturday to see what this place was like. I had heard about it and we had driven by a number of times while headed to Howard County (they don't have a sign out front) but I wasn't sure what it was.
Here's what it is: A fun and lively indoor and outdoor gathering spot for couples, groups or families who want to enjoy beer, pizza (more on that later) and live music. It's a brewery that also happens to have some things to eat, and also features different food trucks on different days. The music acts change as well -- when we were there the band was called "Pull Up a Chair" which did a very capable job of covering songs from the Beatles to Fleetwood Mac and other 60s bands. The atmosphere is young, very lively and casual, and the property has a HUGE lawn for families and groups to set out blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy mild evenings and the music. If you go on the weekend, be sure to get there by 4:00 because one review on Yelp said it gets busy by 5:00, and they were right!
My one criticism is with the pizza we ordered -- I don't eat spinach, so we ordered the veggie pizza without spinach. What arrived was a very thin crust pizza with sparse toppings: I'm talking literally six or seven real small slices of green pepper and red onion, and the rest cheese...no herbs, no spices, no extra anything to compensate for the missing spinach. The friendly waitress did offer some shakers of pepper flakes and Parmesan, so we accepted. My home made lemonade was tart and just sweet enough. If we go again I think we'll try a food truck.
