About
Robin Hill Farm & Vineyards is a beautiful place to visit, sip wine, and host your event. You’ll be treated to lovely views of the rustic red barns, rolling hills, grazing farm animals and our farm winery & tasting room where we offer estate grown wines. Family owned and operated since 1955, we are located in scenic Southern Prince George’s County, only 25 minutes away from the nation’s capital of Washington, D.C, and about an hour south of downtown Baltimore. Our little town remains fairly rural and the country side drive to get to us can be a viewing pleasure at any time of year. We invite you to come on down for a visit, sip some wine, and relax on the porch overlooking the vineyard or in our cozy barn tasting room. We hope to see you soon. Cheers! ~The Robin Hill Farm and Vineyards Family

My husband and I returned to where we were married to spend the Saturday after Valentines Day together. Robin Hill provided a great, fun atmosphere with live music inside their tasting room. Great way to spend an early afternoon, or anytime of day, with loved ones!

Robin Hill Vineyards is a great little farm winery a short drive from DC and the Beltway (US I-495). They have 15 or so wines ranging from dry to sweet to fortified in a slew of red and white shades.

In addition to their wines, on weekends they usually have a food truck for eats and team with local musicians who take stage on the small “bandstand” out on the lawn under the very mature shade trees.adjacent to that area, there’s a small field with goats and ducks/geese to entertain the little ones. This was a great option for us to chill out in nature and recuperate from a week of work!

Robin Hill’s layout is ideal for these COVID era days - in addition to the shaded lawn, they have spread out their seating in several areas - the shady lawn by the bandstand, a large covered deck adjacent, a more distant grove of trees, next to their vines, and on the deck by their tasting room and production barn.

During our visit, the food truck of the day was offering gyros and steak subs. The winery was offering their cute “wine tasting to go” - 12 wine samples in a vintage looking egg carton, wrapped with a souvenir Robin Hill glass. Make sure you watch the owner walk through the tasting kit in a video on their web site .... the wine names are all tied to the farm and family’s history.

Less than an hour's drive from Alexandria in a wonderfully bucolic setting. We arrived a bit earlier than our group so we could taste and select wines for our picnic lunch.
Russell Jr. took us through the nine wines listed on the tasting menu plus one just released white that wasn't listed. We settled on a white and Rose for lunch, and and 2nd white to take home. Only in their 2nd season of public tasting, Robin Hill shows promise of producing some very good tasting offerings.
In addition to a covered veranda, there were a score of picnic tables, all with umbrellas, and several in the highly desirable shade tree area. The young ones liked the goats, geese and the horse, and the live guitarist was pleasant to listen to and not intrusive.
Unusually, the weather was sunny and dry in the low 80's. A spectacular family outing.

Thanks so much for the review and the kind words, we're very glad you enjoyed your visit! Please come again soon - in the fall and winter we will also be offering our spiced mulled wine - it's a great winter treat. Cheers!

It was such a beautiful setting, regardless if you sat on the inside or outside. They grow their own grapes, which is amazing! We loved all the wines we tasted, especially the rosé. It’s family owned and each wine has its story, which we found lovely. Will come back!

This was our fourth stop on Waldorfs 'wine road'. The oldest of 4 brand new wineries in a 6-7 mile stretch with a good variety of wines. A rainy day trip to sample new wines in MD. The hostess was very nice, sharing the story behind each label. I liked their whites more than the reds, but that is my personal preference.

We live right down the road from Robin Hill and couldn’t be happier for this winery to have opened locally. It is a great venue to enjoy a variety of fine wines, great live music, and fun events! From namaste & Rosé, to game days, holiday events to Bottles & Blooms... this serene setting is a must visit! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and fun. It doesn’t disappoint, enjoy a class or event or a cheese tray and bottle on the outdoor porch or by the fireside, you are sure to be back sooner then later!

I really enjoyed visiting. This is a beautiful farm/winery. Very accessible from US 301 and its a wonderful drive down a beautiful country road to get there. Its also easy to find. I went there for their monthly "Namaste and Rose" class. An hour of the best yoga class I've ever been to. The price also includes a glass of YUMMY rose wine and wine glass too. The family who owns the farm is so welcoming and has such an amazing family history with the farm. Highly recommend this as a place to visit in the DC area. Ill be back for another visit soon!!!

Loved loved LOVED this vineyard! The tasting room is so cozy with its comfortable chairs and fireplace. The day we were there live music was playing and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches were available. All Robin Hill wines are delicious and it was hard to choose which was my favorite. I ended up buying Home Sweet Home for a desert wine and Russell’s Reserve for a full bodied red wine. Can’t wait to go back and buy more. Oh! And I just saw where they will be offering goat yoga in the spring. How cool is that?!?
