The cinema shows many excellent films that other movie houses do not. This is a very well maintained group of theatres. It seems as though, probably because of the more art house fare, there never is the trash and sticky floors of the mall theatres....More

This was one of the only theaters still playing “If Beale Street Could Talk.” Which I appreciated since we had been meaning to see it. I honestly hadn’t been to a Landmark theater since living in San Diego. Knowing that this theater is more independent,...More

With multiple screens, Bethesda Row Cinema reliably shows the best of the current crop of foreign and independent films, usually soon after they open to general audiences in the US. The theaters are designed to provide a good view and the seats are large and...More

This is a very nice theater that often shows indie films that no place else in the suburbs shows. There's also a bar and you can take a glass of wine into the theater. Lots of restaurants very close by as well.

Love this cinema - brings in the best movies, you can take a glass of wine into the theater with you, and if you know to ask you can order your Junior Mints cold from the fridge. What's not to love? Surrounded by terrific restaurants;...More

This is one of the few neighborhood theaters left in the DC suburbs. Come for comfy stadium seating, friendly staff, and dramatic releases. Ticket prices are a hair lower than the newer theaters. Public parking a little inconvenient so walk, bus, or metro over. Near...More

Very nice cinema theatre in the heart of Bethesda. In addition to the movie drinks are available there. And once you walk out there are tons of restaurants and cafes to continue the night, even a bookstore across the street.

Excellent choice of films, comfortable seating, large screens, - after viewing the film one has a choice of various ethnic restaurant - The difficulty is just the great choice available. Also public parking is available.
