The death of malls in America
May 2021
Nice clean mall, but lots of empty storefronts- a few inexpensive places to eat, a Macy's anchor store- but pretty empty overall.

Just a convenience. Not comfortable anymore. ):

This mall used to be amazing and had more go-to fashion stores. Everything lately has been going downhill considering they’re closing down shops one-by-one and replacing them with small businesses you’ve never heard of. The only mainstream shops left are...

Fashion: Victoria’s Secret/PINK, American Eagle, Spencers and Hot Topic (If you’re into that kind of thing), Journeys and Shoe Dept., and any jewelers if need be. (Maybe you’re getting engaged or looking for a nice gift?)

Food: They have restaurants like Qdoba, Bonefish Grill, Pure Raw Juice, and you would NEED to visit the Pretzel Twister. They have the BEST pretzels.

Other than these stores, you’re going to find a nail salon, your general retail shops like Sears or Macy’s. There is a Best Buy and pet store across from the mall and luckily you’ll find an ULTA makeup store nearby. There are also plenty of coffee shop and food choices in the area, but can’t we all agree that it would be nice to have a nicely condensed mall like the old days??? We’re causing all this traffic and tearing down more trees for no damn reason. I rate this mall poorly because it’s just not as comfortable or nicely designed as it used to be. It’s really just a convenience, but it surely won’t be for too much longer.

Just a matter of time
Jan 2020
I have been going to Harford Mall for many years. My wife used to work there. The mall is thinning out like a lot of retail stores are. The so called "brick and mortar" stores will one day fade into history. Now the mall is forcing Sears out by not renewing their lease on their parking lot. I believe they just want them gone to make way for a more productive business. Overall I like the mall I just don't like all the changes.

Nice Local Mall
Jul 2019 • Friends
This mall is the center for Bel Air shoppers. Sears and Macys are the “big” draws and both are rumored to be leaving. The mall is always clean and well lighted. My wife likes to walk there in the morning and Friendlys is half price until 11:00.

Ample parking, variety of shops and services

The Harford Mall has fortunately held on to two big anchor stores that provide a step up in quality from the many other Department stores in the area. One can get good deals on every thing from luggage to clothing. A special feature in a very reliable watch and clock repair shop. Small and often seasonal kiosks along the wide central corridor offer fun browsing. Several popular dining options exist from full service restaurants to fast food. Gift and card shops are good to browse for the present one almost forgot to get. Usually a one stop errand turns into a tour around the Mall to see if anything new is available. The no pressure atmosphere is welcoming.

Wonderfully convenient...

Ok, so it isn’t a mega-mall with 10 million stores, but... Harford Mall offers a nice variety of stores for every generation and budget. Anchored by Macy’s, Sears and Best Buy, it’s more than a Friday night hangout for young teens. And, if while shopping you want to eat, you’ve got Red Robin, Qdoba, Bonefish Grill, Friendly’s, Green Turtle and a few other options to choose from. There’s plenty of free parking and security provides the assurance of safety. Harford Mall is a great place to shop! It’s wonderfully convenient!!

Nice small mall
Jul 2018 • Family
I've always liked this mall because it is smaller and less noisy than White Marsh. White Marsh has better food. This mall is relaxed and quiet. They have an interesting selection of stores.

Unrealized Potential
Apr 2018 • Couples
The Harford Mall has always had immense potential; however, for whatever reason, it has never become all that it could be. A number of spaces in the mall are vacant, probably due to the quality of the stores previously occupying them. Several of the currently-running stores are of a sketchy, borderline dumpy nature. Not sure who mall management thinks their target market is; they certainly aren't catering to the locals. Unfortunately, this mall is cruising on a downwards trajectory. It's probably only a matter of time before it shares the fate of Golden Ring Mall. Very sad...
