We were staying at the York Harbor Inn, so of course we walked across the street to take the Cliff Walk. A very small portion of the walk is open, but you get the idea of what a beautiful walk this would be if open. You can walk down to the beach if you go south, and its a very easy walk where people were running their dogs, taking pictures, and just sitting watching the water. Very beautiful.

We couldn’t take the walk ... access at the beginning of the trail was closed due to trail damage ... you could see it from the beach. In the distance you could see some people walking - we couldn’t find an access point from the road.

We have hiked the Cliff Walk countless times, but keep in mind that it is closed now because of COVID restrictions. You can still walk on the beach and walk in the Hartley Mason Reserve park. It is a gorgeous and very easy walk, so do not miss it after reopening.

Part of the walk was closed due to erosion, but the part open led to a nearby beach. Views were limited to water and waves. No boats or harbor were observable. Calm but relatively uninteresting.

Beautiful views along the ocean, walking on rocks and path. Some parts were muddy when we walked, glad I had boots on.
