This was a great little stroll thru a clearly designated path along a scenic saltmarsh. We were heading up the coast to Brunswick and it made for a nice little detour to stretch the legs and walk the dogs. Its maybe a mile in length. Don't expect any sort of lengthy haul thru difficult terrain. Most people can finish the... More

We had a really peaceful walk. Not too hard or stressful. It was a nice combination of forest and water. So nice to visit a place dedicated to this great woman.

In addition to the scenery, you'll probably meet a friendly dog taking the human for a walk. Be sure to pick up a pamphlet at the trail head, and then watch for... More

It's fantastic at low tide as the river is tidal so it almost a huge sandbar. We saw crabs, snails moving on the sand, mussels, barnacles, clams and fun wading in the tidal pool. There is also a small beach, trails to walk, a playground, bathrooms, and a gazebo, where they have summer concerts. We really enjoyed exploring.

Very easy path with interpretive stops along the trail that explains what you are seeing and how it contributes to the eco system. Be sure to pick up a map with the descriptions at the trail head. Only about a mile (maybe less?!) loop
