This is a great place to visit and do some hiking on enjoy nature. There is a small fee to get in but basically once you get in, you stay as long as you like. If you casually hike all the trails you would be here most of a day. We brought a picnic lunch and had it on one of the picnic tables available. I think we did all the trails and would classify them all as easy. Some have very good views and of course it's especially nice in the fall when the leaves are changing. There are rest room facilities and some of the historic structures open as well. Well worth a visit.

This is a great place! We wandered around the historic property to look at the house, windmill, barn, horse stalls, and other outbuildings, then walked the half-mile trail to the beach. It was low tide, so it was a perfect time to do some beachcombing. The foliage was a bit past peak, but the russet and gold colors were still beautiful. Lots of birdsong, too. We'll definitely go back and try some of the other trails.

Never tire of the views here. Love the wide expanse of undeveloped shoreline. We make a point of hiking here whenever we’re in the area.

This is just right for a quiet walk in the woods. Some trails lead to ocean views and along a salt marsh. Signs along the way provide information about the vegetation you are seeing. Very pleasant.

Pleasant place to take a walk in the woods and visit the beach and estuary areas. Peaceful and well kept.
