Miles of trails to walk- can even walk right to a great beach, but be prepared to walk. Beautiful grounds and many events are booked here. We observed many weddings while walking here. The only thing I recommend is to use bug spray. You are...More

We put this on the top of our list each year to the area and always come away impressed by the beauty and depth of the manicured walking trails. Out visit was mid-May on a weekday. Unfortunately, this is a popular place for school field...More

We visited this Reserve in order to attend a wedding there. The rolling hills of the farm & the old buildings are very scenic. There is a cool water tower gracing the crest of one of the hills; and acres & acres of yardage, probably...More

We visited in February using a small map provided by our B&B. It featured a selection of trails to explore. We chose one leading directly to a rocky beach (1 mile in each direction), and the breaking surf on the rocks was a nice reward...More

This old farm could have gone the way of development, but it has been preserved as an ecological education center. There are many trails through the grounds, particularly the one leading down to the beach. Good things happen there all through the year: craft fairs,...More

There are several great trails to follow. They span the gambit from fields to woods to ocean. There is beautiful scenery and it is peaceful and calm.

Many trails with beautiful flora and native animals. Miles of solitude and beautiful scenery . Laudholm Farm is a gem. Originally a gentlemen's farm with great charm. Totally restored and open to the public.

We could have spent all day here. There are at least 9 different trails, none seem too difficult. It was very quiet walking to the marshes or down to the beach. There is a small museum on the grounds. Picnic tables are available . Lovely...More

Several different paths to take. All leading to different viewpoints. We've only been in the off season when the bugs and people have been minimal. Views and history of the farm are nice. We snowshoed here Winter of 2015/2016. Had a wonderful time then too.

Visit this beautiful reserve where you can explore and discover. The little pools of water offer a little interesting water creatures. Take the time, bring the kids and let them explore!

We do not have a public launch accessible through the Wells Reserve main campus. We run guided trips, using our own kayaks, from a private dock. You can still explore one of the reserve's estuaries by putting in at Harbor... More

The Wells Reserve has a "no pets" policy because of our focus on protecting natural resources. We have more on this topic on our website (search for 'pets').

Certainly! We consider ourselves fortunate to have hundreds of volunteers who give thousands of hours each year. There are many ways to get involved, so it's a good idea to visit, call, or email to find the right fit.
