This is a beautiful garden. We didn't see butterflies when we stopped but we did find a couple of monarch caterpillars. We stopped just before dinner. Wear bug spray due to mosquitoes. There are benches to enjoy a packed lunch as you overlook the water....More

Beautiful gardens. Smallish but VERY nicely done. Recommend! A bit hard to find (small sign). Well maintained with a surprising butterfly population.

This is a charming garden full of beautiful plants that attract butterflies. The volunteers are very willing to teach you about caterpillars, larvae and butterflies that they found on the plants. It is located on a very quiet and well-manicured setting.

I just returned this week for another wonderful visit and there were lots of butterflies everywhere, many being Monarchs getting ready for their migration. If the weather is cool or rainy, the butterflies will be roosting so you won't see them, but if one of...More

Lovely little seaside park, with beautiful flowers of all kinds. Especially loved the Lupine by the water, and there were swings where you could enjoy the view. You'll have to look for the sign for this little park in Southwest Harbor, but it is worth...More

The gardens are well maintained and impressive. It's a great place to relax with a book or to meditate. Was bit disappointed in the size of the grounds, but appreciated all the thoughtfulness of plantings, benches, and even a tire swing!
