We absolutely loved the Youth Kayak tour! Kyle was an excellent tour guide. He was so patient and informative! Sarah was a big help getting set up to head out and when we returned back to the beach. We saw bald eagles, their nest and fledglings, as well as harbor and gray seals. T

We took our two kids, 8 and 12, on the youth kayaking tour. It was a great time and Kyle was a knowledgeable tour guide. We saw eagles, seals, and other wildlife up close with a detailed narration by Kyle. The water was calm and the kids paddled fine. It was the perfect day.

Our family is visiting from Virginia and had the pleasure of going on a tour with Connor at 8:30 am 6/28/22. It was a beautiful day and we had a wonderful time! Connor was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and made sure we all had a great experience. We are so glad we joined the tour!

My girlfriend and I did a semi-private kayaking tour with another couple which was great. We kayaked about 7 miles in a tandem kayak with rudders in the evening from 5-9PM. We saw a lot of seals, a few bald eagles and other sea life. Alex was a great kayak tour guide. You do need two to a kayak for this venture and it is well worth it.

This is not an adventure for odd numbered groups or those wanting intense workout. We had an odd number and one of us had to go with a random person - which interfered with the experience. Our person wanted to stay in back with his group and the random he kayaked with wanted to stay in front with their group. At the end we overheard the random say that his partner (our guy) “wasn’t trying hard”. So kayaking with partners is not ideal when you have odd numbers in your group. The pace was slow and a lot of just waiting on the water, so relaxing if that is what you like or are nervous about not having experience. I enjoyed the waiting when we were in the seal habitat and would have fathered have more time there waiting than in other areas. I gave it 4/5 due to seeing seals and customer service being great. The guide Sam was very friendly as well as the people I spoke to when making the reservation were all helpful and kind and Hannah at front desk was sweet as well as our driver Dave super friendly (although someone said his name was Alex). Would have been a 5 if we didn’t have to sacrifice our experience with being matched with a random.

Glad you enjoyed the experience, and yes odd numbered parties will be matched- which all parties are made aware of by acknowledging our "odd numbered party" agreement upon reservation. This can be a great opportunity to meet someone new, and not worry about the added difficulty of paddling solo for 7 miles. Sorry for the inconvenience of a guests comments, that's not ideal! We appreciate the kind words in regards to our team, they're truly incredible!!!
