Had an AMAZING time with Kyle and Brad. The weather wasn’t the greatest, which worried us at first, but turned out to be the BEST WEATHER for wildlife spotting! Kyle knew so much about the geography and wildlife of the area. At one point, we even became surrounded by a small colony of seals! It was truly a magical experience guided by a wonderful company.

We had a great tour with Maine State Sea Kayak. Kayaking with these guys has been on my to do list all summer, and I thought it was going to be too late in the season to go but I was wrong, for being the end of September we had perfect conditions. Not hot, not cold, calm seas. We kayaked 7 miles and it felt easy, since we were going with the current there was plenty of time to just kick back and enjoy the scenery and nature you definitely don't need to be a good kayaker so don't let the 4 hours dissuade you. It was really nice being able to put in at one spot and get picked up somewhere else. Our guide Kyle was very knowledgeable about all the wildlife we saw which included bald eagles, osprey, loons, harbor seals, gray seals and a blue heron. We really liked him and Brad who checked us in and drove the bus. I will definitely be recommending these guys.

Everything we were hoping for! Our guide Kyle was full of great knowledge, and we didn't need an eagle eye to notice the wildlife nearly nipping at our paddles. Harbor seals, bald eagles, loons, ospreys, cormorants, and one or two family dogs were just half of the fun - - enjoying the most beautiful coastline we've ever found ourselves on with 11 strangers was the other.

My husband and I kayaked last Sunday, Sept. 6. After one of the best orientations to kayaking ( we have kayaked a number of times before), we were driven by bus to our starting point. The views of Acadia’s mountains and shoreline were gorgeous. While searching for sea life our guide, Travis, kept us entertained with stories of the history and life of the island. We saw loons, cormorants, gulls, and a harbor seal. During this time of COVID 19, I would add that all the necessary precautions were in place. There was sanitizer available, plexiglass separators in the bus, and masks were mandatory until we were at sea and spread out. Our confirmation number was 61594201.

What a perfect day! I cannot recommend this company strongly enough. Kyle was an informative guide and set a nice, relaxing pace. We got to see many sea birds and we even saw a few seals. We are already planning a trip for next year! Booking #61727136
