Trails through the woods and by the water!

The trails at Vaughan Woods are lovely. They go along the Piscataqua River and through the woods. Long enough and with enough hilly sections to get your blood flowing but nothing too daunting or too long. Great for snowshowing too!

Wonderful state park any time of the year

We love to walk the trails of this park in any season. There is semi-old growth forest along the trail which winds down along the Salmon Falls river. Trails can be icy in winter so bring traction for your boots. We have also spotted eagles...More

Hiking outing.

The whole family went out for a hiking Excursion. The trails were well marked and clean the picnic areas were very clean and they were trash Cans near the picnic tables. We had A-blast!

Shady walk in woods along river called River Run, very nice. Park is not too big but a few loop trails and a moderate work out.

Challenging hike . . .

This is a woody hiking area located near the water. The water is easy to see through the trees as you hike. The hiking path is hilly and shaded. This is a very enjoyable hike in the afternoon.

Always a gorgeous hike

We wind up seeing different things on different days, even on the same trail. Good trail running, bike riding is definitely for the older kids, fun streams.
