We stopped to see the life-sized chocolate moose a.nd managed to leave over $40 behind. The chocolates are very good. I had the dark chocolate malt balls and had to quit after a half of the bag. The chocolate pretzels were also rated well.

If you love chocolate, you will love this place! We came to see the 380 pound chocolate moose, sampled a piece of caramel. Didn't buy anything, prices are a little high but not out of the ordinary

A wonderful selection of chocolates and other confections. The big attraction is the Len Libby chocolate moose. It is huge! I am sure all 50 in our group bought something...especially the Maine taffy....caramel cubes with a powdered sugar on it. They also have a website if you want things shipped.

This is a fun place. Lots of chocolate, ever kind you can think of, also one FULL SIZE chocolate moose and grizzly bear. Unfortunately no licking allowed! Numerous types of home made fudge and toys for young and young at heart . If you are in Scarborough or near you will regret not visiting this wonderful store.

They tell you to go to this place to see the giant chocolate moose. Well we did. And the big bear and the two cubs, all made out of chocolate. Well, I don't know if it's solid or not, but they are there. See them, move on. I guess it is a way to bring people in to buy the... More

yes, it's tourist-trappy, but can't deny that the chocolate moose is definitely something unique to see.. and there is a video explaining how they did it which was informative.. it's in a store.. so obviously, although seeing the moose is free, there is lots to buy..chocolates, fudges, Maine souvenirs, etc.. for us, it was about making a stop before taking... My husband has a fun thing going with our grandsons about moose, so naturally we HAD to go see the life-sized chocolate moose at Len Libby's while visiting friends in Portland, Maine. Sure enough, there it was, along with a precious bear in a neat setting. We were not disappointed! The bonus is the delicious candies offered in this friendly,... More

This is our family's favorite place for ice cream. The cashew caramel and Swiss chocolate almond flavors are terrific. I have a major sweet tooth so it takes a lot for me to not be tempted by all the candies and chocolates they have. They have a great selection of chocolates near the entrance door, then there's an array of... More

Home of the life-sized chocolate moose sculpture. The place smelled amazing and they had candies for everyone-- chocolate, truffles, sat water taffy, blueberry flavored foods, etc etc.
