Happy and clean pussy cats!
Jul 2015 • Couples
We really enjoyed our visit here. The man on the desk was welcoming and tried to explain to us about the zoo in simple French. All the cats are well cared for and we were impressed at how clean all the cages were. They seemed very content lying in the large enclosures and were happy to be petted and fussed. Would recommend to all cat lovers!

A peaceful atmosphere to see a very wide range of cat breeds in nice surroundings. The shop sells lots of 'cat goodies'

Pussy Galore (apologies to Ian Fleming)
Aug 2014
I visited with my boyfriend and children (7 and 4) during a stay in nearby Rouen (30 minutes drive away). Finding interesting things to do daily with young children when on holiday is never easy (at least for me!) but animals that can be petted are always a winner. This place is pretty much in the middle of nowhere although there is a chateau nearby so you can make a day of it (and if you've got a Cat World ticket you can get 3 euros off the entry price to the chateau). There is a long row of large enclosures with various pedigree cats to see (small hands can fit through the wire to stroke the purring cats), a 'retirement' area for the older cats (again, very content looking and happy to be stroked), a few dog enclosures that children can reach over to pet the excited canines, a field with goats in (you guessed it - queuing up for a rub) and (the piece de resistance) a free reign enclosure where the second you're sat down at least one cat is on your lap. As a family of cat owners (3 and counting) we well and truly got our feline fix whilst here.
If I was staying in the vicinity I would definitely visit again!

Cat breed viewing zoo
Aug 2013 • Family
This place is very french, but actually really lovely. It has over 40 breeds of cats in their own little areas, with a description about the breed. You then can go into a garden area and meet about 6 different cats, who come and crawl all over you - very loving. This place would not exist in the UK, but it actually was really endearing. The cats were very well looked after, there was even a retirement area for older cats. I would recommend this place if you are cat lovers.
