We had a good sail with wonderful hosts! The day was late in the season and brisk, and The Captain and Bonnie went out of their way to make sure their guests were cozy warm in blankets with hot chocolate. It was just a nice outing with incredible views !

We had a great few hours seeing the ports from the water, sailing under wind power, and hearing about the history of the area. So very relaxing we had good, warm weather, also. Highly recommend this adventure

If you are fortunate enough to Join Captain Twig, his wonderful first-mate Bonnie (his wife) and mate Lisa for a few hours on their Penobscot Bay Eco Tour - you will be blessed with learning, comfort and FUN. What an enjoyable time we had! It was our scond trip on The Heron... we came back after four years to do it again! I'd bet we have another future sail with them in the future!

We liked this more intimate opportunity to sail in the bay. The marina was easy to get to, the boat was comfortable and we ended up with great sailing weather. I recommend a jacket and maybe a warm hat. I would have liked to have had more information about where we were and about life in the area but overall it was a great experience!
