We visited this small park again while walking along the Rockland Harbor trail. One can sit on one of the benches while admiring the beautiful sculpture and exceptional harbor view.

The beach itself is nothing to write home about, but the views of the harbor and many-many boats are charming... Very quiet in the evening, nice spot to watch the sunset.

Nice small sandy beach with easy access from the boardwalk. Nice granite stairs to access the beach.

Nice views of the harbor and plenty of boats. A few benches at on top of the bank overlooking the beach.

Small beach area just down from Archer's on the Pier. There are benches to sit on up top, or sit on the sand or rocks down near the water. The view is awesome.

We went to this beach/park for the primary reason of seeing the "Ridin' The Rails to Rockland" sculpture. Local resident Jay Sawyer created this sculpture from railroad ties collected from all over the state. It has been beautifully situated overlooking the bay.

Great for children but be sure they have some kind of water shoe on as it is very rocky and has lots of little shells (really hurt my feet!). The kids had fun but it was low tide and there was lots of seaweed. It's a pretty beach, has tide pools and has come picnic tables up at top and under some trees. Some tables will give you line of sight of the beach. Has some limited parking too.

Very small beach. Quiet. We were the only two on it. We had so much fun finding TONS of sea glass. We couldn't believe how much there was on such a little beach. It's right in downtown Rockland.

Couldn't get close to this when I was a kid many moons ago too many fish guts and raw sewage. You can swim here now if like cold Atlantic water. Great views of Rockland Harbor and the islands. decent parking, walking trail and picnic tables.
