This sail trip was something my family has never done before. The vessel was very cool to be on with its late 1800’s feel. If you wanna just enjoy a nice evening or day cruise this is for you. Drinks and dinner are served depending on what trip you choose. The crew is very nice and the food is very good!

An overnight schooner trip had been on my bff's bucket list for a long time and we did it with Captain Katie, Chef Adam, Rachel and Zach this weekend! The schooner is beautiful and has a rich history. The crew is helpful, the food is AMAZING and we will be looking to another trip next year! Rockland and the Penobscot Bay is beautiful and the perfect place for a vacation.

We had the best night! The captain and staff are so friendly and fun. The food was amazing...really amazing! You cannot get any fresher lobster. The boat is beautiful. This is a must do for those visiting the area! It was chilly on the water when we went so check the weather and wear layers if needed. They also had deck blankets on board.

The schooner is wonderful, very well restored, the food was amazing, beautifully cooked on a wood fire. Presentation was fabulous and everything was fresh and homemade. The cabin was small but very comfortable and well appointed, we had everything we needed for a night out.The mattress was very comfortable and we slept well. Everything was very well thought out and even going up to the head at night was well lit with lanterns. The crew were fun and very welcoming. This was a bucket list trip and worth every penny, make sure you try out this schooner.

The restored and historic Boyd Sheppard schooner is a perfect venue for an afternoon/lobster dinner cruise in the beautiful Penobscot bay, Owl’s head lighthouse region and views of the expansive Maine coastline. The crew could not have been more friendly, welcoming and accommodating serving drinks, shucking local oysters, and a full farm-to-table style lobster dinner and dessert. Our late-afternoon cruise was punctuated by a stunning sunset, and a group of harbor seals near our dock. Special thanks to Captain Katie for a memorable day in Rockland.
