When you first walk into Rockland Historical Society you can tell right away that painstaking care was taken in preserving and displaying the history stored in Rockland, Maine. What a varied and wonderful display to take in with a knowledgeable staff to narrate details about the pieces. if you find yourself in Rockland and need something fun to do, don't hesitate to stop in and learn a great deal about the building blocks of a very cool town in midcoast Maine. A rich history in limestone burning, shipbuilding and much more awaits!
