As you come around a curve in route 17 the vista opens to reveal a view of Mooslookmeguntic Lake and the Western Mountains of Maine. There is nothing else here but the view. Pull over for a few minutes and enjoy.

Height of Land offers a postcard view that changes during the day and seasons. It is just and awesome view and a great place to stop for a photo or picnic lunch.

This is just a pull off, no facilities, but is one of the prettiest in Maine. There is another overlook just north over Rangeley Lake.
