I especially had to get a photo of the sign because I knew that I would never remember what this beautiful lake would be called. The overlook gives you stunning views and it is worth it driving up and over the mountains, especially if you are touring the New England states on a road trip.…

Maine’s fourth-largest lake, Mooselookmeguntic is a jewel in the Rangeley Lakes region. Many visitors to the area see it from the Height of Land overlook on Route 17, but there are plenty of ways to get closer to the water, whether by hiking, camping, or even boating and fishing.
