The tour was fun and reasonably priced, the final stop which is the Portland Head Light is awesome! I will say as a history lover we were a bit bored on the driving portion of the tour even though the tour guide was outstanding. Portland seems to have a lot of rich history, but I think I would've rather just... More

We did the trolley tour (approx 2 hours) which was not too crowded, inside a shaded/covered vehicle with nice windows, and informative but an enthusiastic driver/guide. We covered an extensive area, including being able to get out and walk around the main Light House attraction which was nice (recommend the gelato there!). When we got off the trolley, we then... We typically start our trips to a city with a tour so we have an idea of what we'd like to see and get a general "feel" for the place. Our tour today was excellent, plenty of information, history, suggestions of where to eat and lots of laughs. "JJ " had us laughing with so many anecdotes and we enjoyed... More

My husband, son, and I had a wonderful time. Not too long, not too short. We were able to see around the Portland shore and the beautiful islands around. Loved seeing the lighthouses, many forts, and learning the history. We sat in the way back on the bottom, which was a great view. There's an enclosed area with tables inside... More

We took the trolley in the morning and the lighthouse tour in the afternoon. Our trolley driver mixed history with just the right amount of humor. He also gave great little tidbits of famous people along the route. We had a quick lunch before we boarded the boat. The day was quite breezy, but Captain Mike had everything under control.... More

This was a fun, scenic and informative tour. It provides a good introduction to Portland and covers the highlights. The only stop is at Portland Head Light, where you have about a half an hour for viewing. Our driver/guide was very good and mixed history, anecdotes and humor well. I would recommend this for anyone but it is especially good... More

Our group loved the city trolley tour and found our guide Bob to be both knowledgeable and convivial. Portland is a beautiful little city unmarked by ugly high rise towers. The boat trip had ample room despite being pretty full. The boat guide was also very good. Saw some seals too

We took an 1.5 hr. lighthouse lovers cruise and it was really fun. It's not really a "lovers" cruise. It's great for families, groups, couples, etc. It's fun, casual and informative. Plus, they have a cash bar on the boat. Always a good thing. :)

On a gorgeous Maine evening we took this tour. Our narrator was very informative along with being funny. Captain Tom did a fabulous job steering the big rig. We had an amazing time on-board. Loved being out to sea and seeing the coast from a different angle. You can't visit Maine and not experience Casco Bay aboard a boat. Definitely... More

Hi Rae R, Sounds like you took our Sunset Lighthouse Cruise and glad to hear you enjoyed it! We would agree you can't visit Portland not check out our beautiful Casco Bay and Portland from the water. I'm thinking maybe you had Todd as your captain and we'll make sure he sees you nice review. Thanks for taking the time... More
