we wanted something fun to do for fall while on a trip to portland. we went on a friday night that had perfect fall weather. Gordon, our tour guide, found us at the meeting point. He was, as all the reviews mention, excellent with names right out of the gate and remembered everyones. It made the whole thing very personable.... More

Like everyone else has posted, Gordon's method of including each participant's name and face recognition in his opening remarks is mind boggling! We enjoyed the entire tour and after-tour experience. ANYONE can do this tour.

Gordon Tweedie was our tour guide and had a very entertaining way of story telling and keeping the group interested in Portland's ghostly history. The tour was a very easy walk and showed off lots of the area.

Gordon was a charming host and a wonderfully charismatic storyteller. The tour lasting just around 75 minutes, consisted of a pleasant jaunt throughout Portland Maine's historical old port district. It included 7 stops with an assortment of paranormal stories ranging from pirates, ghost, witches and other spooky occurrences from the past. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested... More

Guide greeted us under a parking ramp roof(raining) and continued his 15 minute tour speech there while we were very distracted by the five homeless men within three feet of us. When walking to the next stop, the back half of the group (about ten people) lost sight of the guide. After a five minute wait the guide arrived to... More

Gordon was a fantastic tour guide who made an effort to make everyone on the tour feel welcome and included! He started with some history of Portland as a background and then lead us to various sites to retell the haunted tales that had been shared with him by locals. Gordon was very energetic and enthusiastic, getting into character with... More

We always try to find a ghost tour in the towns to which we travel. We fully enjoyed Gordon's stylings and stories. He has a manner which makes you feel at home and individually cared for. Gordon introduces himself, learns your name and uses it during the tour. Really a nice touch. Complementing his personal touch, his stories are interesting,... More

This walking tour is informative - the tour guide walks you to various spots in downtown Portland and tells the story of hauntings and myths that originate at that location. I think a lot of people expect this to be scary. It is not. It is amusing. The tour guide knew his material cold and memorized the names of every... More
